"Fantastic Cats" is a casual cat game by a Korean developer named DazzlePlay, Inc. In "Fantastic Cats," you are a blogger looking to try to provide an intimate look into the minds of various cats. You play the role of a blogger trying to blog about the Fantastic Behaviors of cats. Can you try to help this blogger recognize this vision? Placing food and toys around your cafe will help lure some cats to play. The real joy comes in trying to discover the Fantastic Behaviors of these cats.

"Fantastic Cats" may seem a lot like "Neko Atsume" at first, but this game is more about exploring the minds and talents of cats rather just than try to collect multiple cats. You find out about cats based on toys you place in your yard. Once a cat enjoys a certain toy, you begin to sense certain personality aspects about them. You must then try to further learn about their personalities and special traits with more toys. More cats will eventually find your yard and play around with toys and eat. It is all up to you to try to find out what is all in the minds of these cats!

The Basics.

You begin with one toy and attracting one cat. You will need to place cat food in your yard in order to attract cats. You then proceed to add more toys and items to your yard. Items can be purchased using either Gold Coins or Dazzle Tokens. More interesting items can be purchased using Dazzle Tokens. If you have enough real money, you can purchase Gold Coins or Dazzle Coins using your own real money.

What are these "Fantastic Behaviors," anyways? Well, they are unique abilities each cat has that you are trying to expose. You only know what such Fantastic Behaviors are if the cats play with their favorite toys. If you seem to be in a hurry to try to discover Fantastic Behaviors, try feeding cats Catnip. The chances, however, are not very high you will discover Fantastic Behaviors with Catnip. You have a 30% chance of discovering Fantastic Behaviors with regular Catnip, and you have a 50% chance of discovering Fantastic Behaviors if you have Luxury Catnip.

After midnight, the in-game blog will be updated featuring pictures taken of various Fantastic Behaviors and other pictures. You earn Subscribers and Gold Coins based on your progress and in your observations. You will earn bonus material based on consectutive days looking into Fantastic Cats. So it is best you play the game some time after midnight to gauge your progress. You can connect via Google Play Games, Facebook, and Twitter.

I have reviewed three different mobile cat games this month, "Fantastic Cats" being the third. Of the three, I must say that I didn't enjoy "Fantastic Cats" as much as I did "Furistas Cat Cafe" or "Neko Atsume." The pace of this game game is too slow and not really as rewarding. It is tough to acquire money without having to spend real money just for in-game credit. The concept and the appeal are there in this game. I even enjoy the cute meow sounds when browsing the cats. The background song is nice. I am kind of hit-and-miss on the cats. They either look extremely mean or feel like I am invading their privacy. In the long run, I just couldn't enjoy this game too much to where I would want to play it again or recommend it to anyone. It is a nice experience, but it could have been a lot better to me.
