Whn you live in a city as huge and as diverse as Houston, Texas, USA; it can be tough trying to learn of some of the finer things to do around town. So you need a show that gives you the low-down on what all is happening in the awesome city (or maybe I'm biased) of Houston. One show on TV to check out is "Check This Out Houston." "Check This Out Houston" is a lifestyle show aired monthly on ABC 13 here in Houston. This show is hosted by Katishia Costley (better known as Kat Cosley)- as in the same Kat who hosted "Deals" on Live Well Network (now ABC Localish). She provides her own reporting and discussion regarding the various Houston happenings along with extra advice. So in a way, "Check This Out Houston" combines a look at various happenings in Houston along with the consumer information of "Deals" into one half-hour monthly TV program. There have been a few promotions made with the show. Earlier installments (for example) of "Check This Out Houston" featured a water-based carpet cleaning service. These days, promotions have been made for Innovative Lasers of Houston (as in March 2020), a unique FDA-approved technological advancement promising losing a number of pounds within a few weeks through a number of individual sessions. This show has something for everyone. (IN CASE YOU ARE WONDERING: I might actually blog about Innovative Lasers of Houston in the future.)
To say the least, Kat Cosley does a great job reporting on and discussing various happenings and in some consumer advice. As usual, Kat Cosley delivers her own personality into her segments- smiling sweetly and providing an air of positive energy. She confidently expresses her personality with each featured segment on the show. Even a monthly show such as this one provides so much to people wanting to know about the latest happenings in Houston or even to gain valuable consumer advice. So be sure to check out "Check This Out Houston" on ABC 13 here in the Houston-Galveston area when it airs. If you miss an episode or certain segments, you can see past episodes on ABC Localish or through the "Check This Out Houston" website.
