Venus is a singer I came across on Twitch recently. This British singer/songwriter has produced many a lovely song both in her own music and on Twitch. Venus is a goddess who delivers divine energy in her songs and personality. What I decided to do for this blog post is introduce you to Venus and what she brings to Twitch and music. So join me here on "John's Blog Space!"
This label features various topics regarding the popular live stream service Twitch, as well as the various individuals who are a part of Twitch.
Venus
Venus is a singer/songwriter from near London, England, United Kingdom. This British singer performs a number of songs in her streams. She began her music career in 2018. Venus does a combination of singing and keyboard play. She even once went acapella and even did sort of a duet with a guitar player. All the while, Venus delivers her sweet and gentle personality to her streams. Venus has a personality like either a member of royalty or like a goddess. All of her Followers are angels to Venus. Even being at home, Venus delivers concert-quality performances. Venus even takes her music to Twitter, YouTube, and even Bandcamp.
When I first discovered Venus on a random Twitch recommendation, I became enticed by Venus when I heard her sing. Venus has an amazing voice and sings beautifully. I don't think I've heard beautiful singing from any singers from the United Kingdom since I used to listen to Charlotte Church and Sarah Brightman. What I adore most about Venus is how humble and welcoming she is. When a new Follower joins, she is very welcoming. When someone Subscribes or is gifted a Subscription, you are "bestowed your wings." Venus will sweetly thank someone for "...bestowing a pair of wings upon [new follower]." She will even thank those who offer donations. So what I love most about Venus' channel is all the happy and heartwarming energy. Just the overall feeling of love and appreciation is what makes Venus channel so wonderful to be a part of. I was vastly motivated to blog about Venus based on her charming personality. Any space that brings positive, respectful, welcoming, charming, and respectful atmosphere is worth visiting and being a part of. Venus even says herself that she has the warmest community on Twitch. She can only get better. It is onwards and upwards for this singing goddess.
I think you will love hearing Venus sing her heart out and share her beautiful spirit with you. She will warm your heart with her beautiful soul, and she will also charm you with her beauty both in singing and in piano play. It is worth your time to follow this lady's channel.
Video Preview.
Here is some insight into Venus and her fabulous performances. This long video I found was when Venus surpassed 25K Followers on Twitch. It will give you an idea to what kind of magic Venus brings to her streams:
Venus, you and your music are lovely. It is great to hear your fabulous voice and your feel your charming personality in your songs and streams. You are truly a wonderful force. You are a divine goddess with a divine voice and aura. I wish you continued success in all of your music. Anything to provide something positive and charming in today's mad world is worthy of my respect. So keep up the great work!
Adele is one of today's hottest singers. This British singer who nicely sings soulful pop music. Adele is a superstar whom you either like or dislike. She represents something forgotten in today's music culture, especially that of someone who is just raw talent and is very down-to-earth. Either way, Adele is someone to really respect and admire. Do not look for this post to be anything definitive about Adele, but I will try my best to showcase Adele in my blog. Welcome to another blog post of "John's Blog Space!"
BRIEF NOTE: The initial date of this blog post (January 23, 2016) marks the seventh anniversary of "John's Blog Space!" Thanks to everyone who have supported my blog in any such way throughout this blog's history.
Adele
The lady known as Adele Laurie Blue Adkins (or just Adele) is below:
^ from: (Twitter) - Adele is a British superstar from London.
The (born: May 5, 1988)-year old British singer named Adele is one of the hottest acts in music today. Adele somewhat reminds me of old-style singing in this postmodern time of music. Her singing style is along the lines of soulful pop. She is surely talented. Adele provides passionate and powerful singing with kind of an old time style to her music. For you English Premier League fans, she's from Tottenham Hotspur country! That is... she was born in Tottenham, London, UK.
I'll be honest... though a lot of people love Adele's music, I think she's alright. I don't hate her- I just don't like her music as wildly as a lot of other people do. One song in particular is my absolute favorite of hers. That song I am referring to is the first of the featured songs:
Rolling in the Deep.
Even though I'm not really into Adele's music, this is my favorite of hers. It is a catchy tune with a nice flow to it. I still find myself grooving to it when I hear it. You're free to groove yourself to it if you like. You know you want to during or after hearing this:
Here is a more modern Adele piece. Some time after Adele gave birth, she came along with this song. Have a listen if you've never heard this hit song before. By the way... this video has one billion hits on YouTube! Enjoy:
After having visited this section, you can't say you have no idea who Adele is or what her music sounds like. You are now educated on Adele. You're welcome.
Adele: Final Thoughts and Commentary
Adele is not one of my favorite singers, but I do vastly respect her music and her singing ability. I just don't like her music all that much. There is definitely one thing I think almost anyone can appreciate about Adele- she is pure talent. She doesn't have to be someone who tries to market herself on sex appeal or trying to be super-slim. Adele is completely real and natural. I even remember once watching "The Wendy Williams Show" during one of her Hot Topics segments about how Beyoncé was being the least bit jealous of Adele, since she's garnering a certain level of success that sort of rivals what all Beyoncé has accomplished. If you read my very old blog post on Beyoncé, you probably know my thoughts on one of my fellow Houstonians. Even still, Adele is someone to surely admire and respect. I don't like Adele's music too much personally, but I don't hate her in any way.
In a way, you can say that Adele represents a lost culture in today's music. Adele earns her fans through pure talent and is not at all on trying to win over fans with any kind of overbearing personality or overly sexy style. It is reasons like these as to why (at least to me) Adele is so respected in today's music. There is nothing completely wrong with today's music culture, but Adele is just... different. Distinctive. Unique. Most of all- real.
What I Would Tell Adele (if she were to read this)
You are someone who is completely real and down-to-earth. You aren't anything fancy or over-the-top. Keep being you and keep being amazing. You have my full respect.
Would I Want to Meet Adele (if given the chance)?
I know I said I don't really like her music that much, but I do think she is a wonderful person. So I would be honored to meet Adele if I actually had the opportunity to do so.
For More Information...
You probably want more Adele if you enjoyed her in this blog post. If so, here are ways to get social with this British superstar:
There are rare some times where I blog about popular things and trending things. This is one of those topics and one of those posts. All of my material is real. Has been since 2009 and even when my blogging was done on Myspace before even being serious about blogging on Blogger/Blogspot. Anyhow, I hope you enjoyed this blog post and my others. The Heavy is a very cool soul-rock group known for some of their very cool songs. This British group has made a bunch of songs that are just catchy and cool. I think you're in for a treat if you've never heard of this group before. If you just like cool-sounding music, The Heavy will not leave you hanging.
--- The Heavy ---
Meet The Heavy:
Chris Ellul (Drums)
Spencer Page (Bass)
Kelvin Swaby (Vocals)
Daniel Taylor (Guitar)
The Heavy is an independent rock group that formed in 2007. They hail from Bath, England, United Kingdom. A lot of their rock music is very influenced by soul. Their combination of these two styles lead to the unique style that has defined The Heavy and their music.
"Big Bad Wolf."
As Gran Turismo 5 was in the works, one such song used to promote GT5 was "Big Bad Wolf" by The Heavy. This song has a funky tone to it with some pretty hot drums. Check this out:
It used to be that there wasn't a long version of this song posted online. So when I found this video, I finally got to hear the full version of this song prior to posting it in this blog post.
"How You Like Me Now?"
You may recall this song as the theme song to "Intentional Talk" on MLB Network or from a past Kia commercial. This classic from The Heavy is what you mostly hear this as the theme song to "Intentional Talk" on the MLB Network these days. At least you know that Chris Rose and Kevin Millar will be ready to have some lighthearted fun talking about baseball... and other things. Here's this classic song from The Heavy:
The theme to "Borderlands 2" is "Short Change Hero." This funky joint is the song you hear in the introduction to this game. I was immediately hooked when I heard it. Even more so when I found out The Heavy made this song. There is a smooth and cool feel to this song that makes it so great to listen to. If you've never heard this song before, here is some more lovin' from The Heavy:
I heard this song for the first time in preparing this blog post. If you liked the other songs I posted, I'm pretty sure you'll like this one too. Have a listen:
A new Beauties series starts up with a look at those from Western Europe. I already did a blog post long ago on the United Kingdom and Ireland, which is part of Western Europe. So most of what you will see here are mostly continental European beauties in Western Europe. Beauties from Spain, Portugal, France, Monaco, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands (or Holland) will be featured in this post. How about we start a new series of posts?
A special hello to all of my Western European readers! I will feature fewer videos to improve the performance of my blog as it is viewed. You can always click on the links to videos in case you have trouble viewing embedded videos or in case you can't view embedded videos.
LATEST UPDATE(S)/REVISION(S):
FEB 26 2014 - added another personality (Hint: Spain)
--- European Beauties: The Series ---
When a new post on each region is complete, expect to see updates linking you to posts in this series. Here is a look at this series of posts. The items in parentheses () indicate all the nations in each given region for which I hope to showcase proper in each post:
Western European Beauties --- YOU ARE HERE ---
^ beauties from Western Europe (excluding UK and Ireland- I've already made a post on these beauties. To see my post on UK and Ireland beauties, please visit: United Kingdom and Ireland Beauties). Featured persons from this region are from Spain, Portugal, France, Monaco, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands.
Central European Beauties
^ beauties from Germany, Austria, Denmark, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland.
Southern European Beauties
^ beauties from Italy, Vatican City, San Marino, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Greece, Malta, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Cyprus, Bulgaria
Eastern European Beauties
^ beauties from Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, and Russian Federation (west of Ural Mountains)
Northern European Beauties
^ beauties from Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Faroe Islands, Aland Islands, Iceland, and Greenland
You will see a number of different personalities representing this specified region. In parentheses () is the nation represented in this post. Someone must either be from that nation or is of some sort of decent from that nation. So for example, an American-born person of Spanish decent or part-Spanish decent would qualify as a Spanish person in this post.
Initially, I had planned on this post being a country-by-country featuring of beauties. Because I've had such trouble, you will see the featured personality and that person's nationality in parentheses.
This Region - Western Europe.
Western European beauties consist of beauties from the following locations:
I already did a post on the United Kingdom, Ireland, and U.K. Dependencies (such as the Isle of Man). What you will see here is essentially western continental Europe and its beauties. Remember that my "beauties" may not exclusively be feminine. I do reference bloggers in my Beauties posts. To avoid any kind of copyright issues, I will not hotlink any images of the bloggers in question.
--- Before I Begin... Lighthearted Musings ---
Let me kind of warm up the mood before sharing some beauties. Maybe you can respond to some of these...
• I have always regarded Spain as a lovely country. I most love Spain for its architecture.
• I know very little about Portugal, but I have known some nice folks from Portugal online.
• I'd still love to go to Paris if I ever travel the world. It is, after all, one of my favorite cities in the world.
• The Principality of Monaco is best known for the lovely city of Monte Carlo. Racing fans into Monte Carlo knows of the street course around Monaco. Most others just know this place as a playground for the rich. They do have a beautiful football (as in association football (or soccer)) stadium called Stade Louis II.
• Is it the Netherlands or Holland? I refer to the place as the Netherlands, but some others call it as Holland. To all my Dutch readers... help a brother out!
That's all from me. Time to begin the blog post.
--- Western European Beauties ---
THIS REGION: Spain, Portugal, France, Monaco, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands
I will try to feature as many personalities from each of the aforementioned nations. Here are beauties of Western Europe!
(United Kingdom, Ireland, and U.K. Dependencies).
The three locations mentioned have all been featured and are all part of Western Europe. To see UK and Ireland beauties, see "United Kingdom and Ireland Beauties."
Penélope Cruz (Spain).
Actress Penélope Cruz immediately comes to mind for me in regards to beautiful Spanish women. She was born in Alcobendas, Spain. Her acting career dates back to when she was 16 for the (born: April 28-1974)-year old. I read she's often called the "Spanish Enchantress." Some do knock her on her Spanish accent. Get to know Penélope as this Spanish siren is interviewed here:
Cuchi-cuchi! María Rosario Pilar Martínez Molina Gutiérrez de los Perales Santa Ana Romanguera y de la Hinojosa Rasten... is better known as Charo. This highly-entertaining Spanish woman is best known for her acting in Love Boat as well as her flamenco guitar performances. Charo is also very caring about animals as she is very much against bull fighting- which is VERY popular in her native Spain. This video showcases the (born: January 15, 1951)-year old in a commercial, being her weird and comical self:
If you want to read my old blog post on her, take a look at my old blog post: "Charo" (John's Blog Space). Yes- Charo and I share the same birthday along with a more important figure than either of us- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.!
Meet Alba. She is a petite blogger from Spain. This little lady has big style. You can see it when you look at her many different blog posts. A lot of her outfits are themed on certain colors or patterns. Click on the heading to visit Alba's blog.
Rakel shows lovely style in this Spanish woman's blog posts. A lot of her fashions consist of very chic and appealing pieces complimented by her fabulous sense of style.
Amanda is a young Spanish fashion blogger behind "Something Fashion." She is a sweet and cool person with some very easy and chic fashion style. Her outfits are mostly casual. I salute her as being a very lovely lady. Feel free to drop by her blog if her work interests you.
Spanish siren Lara of "BY MY HEELS" is a fashion blogger. She offers up a variety of fashions ranging from very casual to very chic. Most of her blog is in Spanish, but her material is also offered in English.
WOWS stands for "With or Without Shoes." This is a fashion blog from a Spanish blogger. She has some amazing style with a variety of chic outfits. Visit WOWS to take a look at her lovely looks and chic outfits.
(ADDED: February 26, 2014)
Marta Purriños is one of the most stylish women in the blogosphere. She hails from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain- which is part of the Spain's Canary Islands. She may look like a boy with her shaven head, but what makes her beautiful is how she is able to boast such beautifully feminine looks while also combining a little boyishness. I levitated towards her loveliness once I started seeing more of her outfits on LOOKBOOK. One thing I will always respect about someone or something is in making something wonderful and marketable, while also being a bit unusual or unexpected. She does just that. When you see some of Marta's more alluring outfits, she presents her style in a way that brings feminine allure but with a boyish touch provided by her shaven head. Some girls try to be head-to-toe boyish, but Marta does boyish charm while still being purely feminine. That's what I love about her and her outfits. Visit "Addict be Iconic" to take a look at her wonderful style. Or for a little video showcasing this Spanish lady's unique beauty, please take a look at the video below:
This Spanish fellow has an incredible sense of style. Remember that my Beauties posts, while I do mention women in Beauties posts, isn't exclusively about women. So this androgynous fellow is deserving to be among the lovelies posted in this blog entry. It is also very special I introduce this person because he is a great supporter of my blogging work. So I'm paying respect to this person here. And if he's reading this right now, thank you.
That concludes my mention of Spanish beauties. More to come in this Beauties-themed post! More countries to get to in Western Europe. I've only discussed Spain while making mention to UK and Ireland beauties. There are still more to mention! To improve the performance of this blog from the main page or through the archives, I am including this Jump Break. I have only covered one nation's beauties among the Western European nations. To see more, make sure you are reading the full post. Click "Read More" to continue (or disregard this section if you are reading the full post). Feel free to connect with me by using this table below if you enjoyed my work so far:
The United Kingdom and Ireland boasts some beauties worthy of being posted on John's Blog Space. I will try to feature some of the many in this Beauties-themed post. I regularly get hits from the United Kingdom, so I hope my UK readers can find some enjoyment in this post. This is a look at many different ladies born in this specific region.
BEFORE I BEGIN...
I'd like to send a special hello to those of you from the United Kingdom and Ireland. I hope I can showcase some of your lovely ladies in this post. This is the least I can do since I get so much support and views from the United Kingdom and Ireland.
I will update this blog post if there are pictures that I can not use. I don't have pictures for every featured personality, but I will do my best to keep my audience entertained with pictures I can actually use. Please let me know I can not use certain pictures for some of the people I will feature here, and I will find some other way to showcase the featured people here. All images were as a result of Google Image searches.
WARNING: This post features many YouTube videos. You may have some trouble viewing this blog post if on a slow connection.
All topics relating to or about either/or the United Kingdom or Ireland are featured under this label. They may even partially involve topics relevant to being featured under this label.
LATEST UPDATE(S)/REVISION(S):
MAR 16 2014 - added another personality (hint: Ireland)
--- United Kingdom and Ireland Beauties ---
While I do value my readers all around the United Kingdom, there are some who may feel sad that I may be neglecting certain parts of the United Kingdom. Like there are some people who are proud the UK is represented, but would feel better if the various individual nations of the UK are featured. So I broke this up into the different representative countries to spread the wealth (so to speak). Because I also value my readers from Ireland, I lovingly included Irish beauties. This is how my post will work:
• England - ladies born in and/or of British descent.
• Scotland - ladies born in and/or of Scottish descent.
• Wales - ladies born in and/or of Welsh descent.
• Northern Ireland - ladies born in and/or of Northern Ireland descent.
• Ireland - ladies born in and/or of Irish descent.
• UK Crown Dependencies - ladies born in or of descent; such as those from the Isle of Man, Jersey, or Guernsey among others.
The featured ladies may be fully of certain descent or of part descent from the nations represented in this post. So let's talk lovely ladies of the United Kingdom and Ireland! Please remember- you can visit official websites, fan pages, and other material if you click on the heading of each featured beauty.
One thing to note about my "Beauties" posts is that this is not a post featuring all of the various beauties. These are usually people I find off the top of my head or during searches. They are all whom I think are lovely. And often times, I do include others that I think people MAY appreciate I make mention to. Otherwise, these are all my own personal picks for lovely ladies of the blog post's category.
Some of these featured beauties have been covered in my blog before, so click on any blog post links I've included to read my blog post on certain ladies featured here.
--- United Kingdom Beauties: England ---
(THIS REGION: England)
I love all of my readers worldwide. One of the biggest regions regularly is the United Kingdom. One of the biggest countries? England. When I usually learn of people who visit my blog(or even my YouTube channel), I don't usually get that it's a certain country within the United Kingdom. It just comes out at United Kingdom. However, a good number of hits I get usually come from England. Most of the hits I usually see are usually from around either London or Manchester. Regardless, I love and respect all of you people from England. It's time I talk about some of the loveliest British ladies. Cheers, mates!
Leona Lewis was the champion of the UK's X-Factor in 2006. Leona has a beautiful voice both singing and in speaking. She is an Afro-Guyanese singer born in Islington in London, England, United Kingdom. This (born: April 3, 1985)-year old has come up with great songs such as "Bleeding Love" from her debut album, "Spirit."
My blog post on Leona Lewis: "Leona Lewis" - John's Blog Space. And if you've never heard her sing, introduce yourself to Leona Lewis by listening to this song:
^ from: recent-movies.com - The gorgeous Layla Kayleigh.
London is a lovely city, and one of its loveliest natives is Layla Kayleigh from South London. This (born: January 26, 1984)-year old first caught my eye during G4TV's coverage of E3 one year. A lovely face with gorgeous hair and a lovely voice made me fall head-over-heels in love with her. Her media work has mostly been as a reporter and as a correspondent. Layla Kayleigh was also the lovely lady who covered The Feed for G4TV's "Attack of the Show!" For the longest, I've wanted to do an individual blog post on her. Never found the time to do so (or at least make a quality post). So therefore, I am here to announce it- Layla Kayleigh is one lovely London lady. Here is a sample of her speaking:
^ from: www.stylenow.info - British beauty Kelly Osbourne.
If you are a regular watcher of "Fashion Police" on E!, you may have heard of Kelly Osbourne. I only know of Kelly Osbourne as the daughter of the great Ozzy Osbourne as well as in hearing a remix of "One Word" by her. She's from Westminster, England, UK.
Adele is among my Plus Size Beauties. She was born in Tottenham, North London, England, United Kingdom; but her origin is from West Norwood, South London, England, United Kingdom. Her brand of music is primarily rather soulful and with passion. Adele is very loved by many people. While I'm not any crazy fan of hers, I do respect the (born: May 5, 1988)-year old. "Rolling in the Deep" remains my favorite song of hers... and really the only song I really like from her. Others enjoy some of her other songs, like "Someone Like You," "Set Fire to the Rain," and songs like that.
If you are on YouTube, you can check out Adele on YouTube through this VEVO channel: "AdeleVEVO" on YouTube.
She has a pocketful of sunshine. Today is where your book begins, and the rest is still unwritten. This lady can only be one (born: November 26, 1981)-year old Natasha Bedingfield from Sussex, England, United Kingdom. I personally love both "These Words" and "Pocketful of Sunshine" from Natasha Bedingfield. Have a listen to Natasha:
Melissa Peachey.
Melissa (or Mel) Peachey was a host of a former Game Show Network show called "PlayMania." PlayMania was a phone-in show whereas people called on their cell phones to play games to win cash. This British beauty was one of the hosts of the show along with Missouri native Shandi. This video below features her as the host of a game show similar to PlayMania in Scotland called Brain Box. Here is a look at Mel Peachey:
Kate Moss.
^ from: topnews.in - Kate Moss- perhaps the world's most famous muse.
Who into fashion HAS NOT heard of Kate Moss? The (born: January 16, 1978)-year old is perhaps one of the world's most famous models. She was born in Addiscombe, Croydon, London, England, UK. She has gone from a controversial sort of figure to a style icon. She was best coined as exhibiting "heroin chic" as well as even being caught doing cocaine. Look at this video to get a profile of Kate Moss and her style: "Fashion File: Kate Moss" - YouTube.
I was first introduced to the sweet and sultry Vicki Butler-Henderson back when Speed Channel shown episodes of "Fifth Gear." I have even seen Vicki cover pit reporting duties for ITV Sport for the British Touring Car Championship. Vicki has been racing in her past and still does a good bit of racing. She hails from Hertfordshire, England, United Kingdom. Here is a sample of Vicki Butler-Henderson in a car as sexy as she is:
Do you know what makes my own picks different from others? I actually can talk about certain people based on fields and sports I am familiar with. One of those is motorsport. Among the many ladies I featured in my "Women in Motorsport" blog post, (born: August 11, 1983)-year old Pippa Mann is a beautiful British blonde who knows a thing or two about going fast. One of her best performances was when she led the most laps at an Indy Lights race at Kentucky in 2010 and ended up winning the race. She is immensely talented. Then again, can you expect anything less from a factory of racing talent like the United Kingdom?
If you're interested in seeing Pippa Mann talk about her win at Kentucky in Indy Lights long ago, I invite you to have a look at this video: "Pippa Mann Wins Kentucky" - YouTube
As one of many of England's finest racing talent, Katherine Legge of Guillford, England, United Kingdom has loads of experience in single-seat formula cars as well as some DTM experience. The (born: July , 1980)-year old was someone I first heard of in the former Champ Car World Series. I think she is a very solid racer. I love Danica Patrick, but I have immense respect for Katherine Legge.
I think this video tells you everything you need to know about Katherine Legge:
Elizabeth Hurley (also known as Liz Hurley) is a lovely British actress. She hails from Basingstoke, Hampshire, England. Among her many roles has been in "Four Weddings and a Funeral" as well as "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery" among others. The (born: June 10, 1965)-year old has been involved in many different arenas. Despite her age, she looks as fabulous as any much younger celebrity.
Alexa Chung.
(ADDED: June 18, 2012)
It's on with Alexa Chung! Though British, (born: November 5, 1983)-year old Alexa Chung has some Chinese blood in her. Her father is of Chinese-British descent. What I respect most from a fashion perspective on Alexa is that she doesn't play by any fashion rules. Her own fashion style is... well, hers. This was the best I could find and embed to introduce you all to Alexa Chung:
(A possible blog post on her is something I'm not ruling out in the future.)
^ from: amazon.com - Sarah Brightman sings as beautifully as her looks.
One of the loveliest and most diversified singers is (born: August 14, 1960)-year old Sarah Brightman. Her music career spans a few decades, starting out in 1976 including many lovely soprano pieces. I am a fan of hers. I've had two of Sarah Brightman's CDs- "Time to Say Goodbye" and "La Luna." I absolutely love her "La Luna" CD much more than "Time to Say Goodbye." My favorite song of hers is "La Luna" from her 2001 CD. If you've never heard Sarah Brightman sing, I invite you to look around on YouTube or something to hear Sarah Brightman sing. Sarah Brightman hails from Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England. She is a beauty both in looks and in singing.
The delightfully sweet fashion blogger Georgina Doull has a very lighthearted blog called "Cupcake's Clothes." This plus-sized British beauty is very creative with her fashion style. Many of her looks are very cute and charming. Georgina really has fun showcasing her looks and her outfits. I got exposure to her blog based on a post from my blogging friend, Principessa Gabriella. Besides fashion, she also takes part in making accessories through her Dolly Darling (formerly Dolly Mixx) line.
Georgina's younger sister, Charlotte, is the creator of "Sugar and Spice." Charlotte Doull is every bit as beautiful as her older sister. The fashions aren't as fantasy-like as on "Cupcake's Clothes," but Charlotte does a great job showcasing very cute and girly fashions in her blog. Her contribution besides fashion is in her Pet Pawtraits, a collection of lovely pictures drawn by Charlotte featuring animals.
Queen Elizabeth II.
I believe this is the very first time I have featured a political leader in my "Beauties" posts. This is probably the best way to thank my readers from the United Kingdom than to offer my respects to Queen Elizabeth II. She was born in Mayfair, Greater London, England. She has reigned as Queen for over 60 years. Only Queen Victoria has reigned longer- 63 years.
Queen Elizabeth turned 86 back on April 21, 2012; so happy belated birthday to Queen Elizabeth II! Here is a video showcasing Queen Elizabeth II from her younger days to now:
More may be added in future edits, so if you enjoyed this post, I may feature a few more!
That concludes England, but I still have many more parts of the United Kingdom to mention! Also, I haven't even discussed Ireland yet! Nor have I mentioned the United Kingdom Crown Dependencies. I am including this Jump Break to improve the performance of this blog post for those who are not reading the blog's main page or some archived page. Are you reading the full blog post? You are NOT reading the full post if you see "Read More" below this paragraph. So click on "Read More" to continue your reading experience if you enjoyed this post! Or of course, disregard this paragraph if you are reading the full post.
British beauty Leona Lewis has one of the loveliest singing voices of any recent singer. This London-born lady of Afro-Guyanese descent has one of the loveliest voices whether singing or simply speaking to others. Her sense of style is divine. This young singer is really one of the best out there right now. It was her "Bleeding Love" song where many people got to hear the real depth and richness of her music and her musical style for the first time.
This initial blog post was primarily designed to be just a simple post on Leona Lewis' music. I may edit it in the future to include more about her.

LATEST UPDATE(S)/REVISION(S)
FEB 15 2018 - complete overhaul of post
Leona Lewis
Here is the lady I'm blogging about here:
^ from: images.contactmusic.com - Leona Lewis. As beautiful in looks as she is in singing.
From becoming champion of "X Factor" 2006 to being a singing goddess, Leona Lewis really made her mark with her sensational voice and goddess-like beauty. She has a great singing voice. But when talking normally, the (born: April 3, 1985)-year old British beauty has a VERY cute speaking voice. Very cute speaking voice with a nice British accent. I think Leona Lewis has a powerful voice and sweet voice in her singing. When I first heard "Bleeding Love," her singing and tone are somewhat along the lines of Mariah Carey when Mariah Carey started out. For as long as she is, I think she will have a very wonderful career ahead of her with perhaps a multitude of awards and honors in the future.
Leona Lewis Videos.
Let's check out some videos now.
Many people heard Leona Lewis for the first time with this song:
^ from "leonalewisVEVO" on YouTube
This song is another favorite of mine from Leona Lewis. She delivers another sweet and powerful performance that gets "Better in Time."
What I Would Tell Leona Lewis (if she were to read this)
You are one of the most beautiful and brightest young singers today. You have an amazing voice whether speaking or singing. I wish you nothing but the best in continuing your career. Also wish you the best if you have any sort of humanitarian and/or philanthropic efforts you are working on or considering. Leona Lewis, you are amazing!
Would I Want to Meet Leona Lewis (if given the chance)?
Absolutely! It would be like meeting Queen Elizabeth, and Leona Lewis is singing royalty. One of the loveliest young singers today. Definitely worth meeting.
The Isle of Man TT is severely long at over 37.73 miles in length. All of the racing action takes place on country and city roads around the Isle of Man. This is one of the greatest races in the world on one of the most imposing racing tracks. Considering how fast these motorcycles can go on public roads and the danger literally faced in every corner, you HAVE to appreciate the fearlessness of motorcycle racers across multiple series that race on the Isle of Man TT course.
--- Snaefell Mountain Course (the Isle of Man TT Course) ---
Here is the 37.73 mile (60.73 kilometer) course:
Because I'm scared as hell to race this course in "Suzuki TT Superbikes: Real Road Racing Championship" and because I'm completely inexperienced about every individual section, I figured I'd let someone more qualified tell you more about this racing course. That "more qualified person" is Guy Martin. Here is a lap of the Snaefell Mountain Course featuring commentary through the entire video. The video is divided into two parts. So I encourage you to check out BOTH parts of this video to see this course in its entirety:
Part 1 of 2:
Part 2 of 2:
I am not a fan of stupidly long race courses, but this is definitely one of the most intense in the world. FULL respect for the motorcycle racers who contest the Isle of Man.
Brands Hatch is a track that features lots of racing action. Situated over 19 miles (or 31.06 kilometers) southeast of London, this track has been hosting racing since the mid-1960s. Its beginnings was as a motorcycle dirt track. Over the past few decades, this course has seen racing on both two wheels and four wheels. Even some rallycross racing takes place here. It had played host to Formula One Grand Prix racing long ago. You want some racing action on a classic British facility? You'll get it in bunches here.
This blog entry concerns both the Indy course and the Grand Prix course. I will attempt TWO lap descriptions of this course. Brands Hatch is one of four circuits owned by MotorSport Vision. The other three include Oulton Park, Snetterton, and the beautiful park-like circuit called Caldwell Park.
--- Brands Hatch ---
Here is a map of this course, featuring both layouts:

Brands Hatch offers up so much challenge for such a short course. Even the Grand Prix course feels like the lap times pass by so fast. Action is guaranteed no matter which course is raced. The Indy course offers up a technical course for such a quaint 1.198-mile (1.929 km) layout. The Grand Prix course is 2.613 miles (4.206 km) in length. I'm so used to the Indy layout that I'm not as adept with the Grand Prix course. Both courses offer a fair degree of elevation changes.
One Lap Description.
This is one of a few rare Race Track blog entries where I cover multiple configurations. So enjoy both of these!
--- Brands Hatch: Indy ---
You begin going downhill on Brabham Straight, but then progressively go uphill into the right-handed Turn 1 (Paddock Hill Bend). The last thing you want to do here is overshoot the corner (which can be very easy). You have to really go to the far outside and then attack the apex. Paddock Hill Bend dips downhill as you exit this long corner. Hailwood Hill follows with a slight kink to the right. The very slow, yet very decisive, Druids Bend (Turn 2) follows. It is a right-hand hairpin that goes a bit uphill. The road ahead progresses downhill and through a left-hand kink followed by the left-handed Graham Hill Bend (Turn 3). Halfway home! Cooper Straight sets you up for that blast back down to Brabham Straight. Turn 4 is a sharp left-hander called Surtees. Surtees sets you up for the Grand Prix course. But if doing the Indy course, the long right known as McLaren (Turn 5) is next. Get McLaren right as it goes uphill. Otherwise, you won't be able to take the downhill Clark Curve (Turn 6; left-handed) at full speed. The road goes uphill a bit before dipping back down to the Start/Finish line. Another 1.198 miles of racing await you after crossing the line!
--- Brands Hatch: Grand Prix ---
The same notes from the Start/Finish line to Surtees applies. So most of what you will see will be a copy-and-paste of all of the past data leading up to Surtees. So let's do a GP lap of Brands Hatch! Cooper Straight sets you up for Surtees. Turn 4 is a sharp left-hander called Surtees. Surtees sets you up for the Grand Prix course. Surtees on the Grand Prix course, unlike the Indy course, doesn't require you to make that switchback into McLaren. Instead, Surtees is a long left-hand corner that leads into Pilgrim's Drop. The road progresses downhill upon exiting Surtees. Pilgrim's Drop features a brief right-hand kink leading all the way down to Hawthorn Hill and eventually Turn 5 (Hawthorn Bend). After the kink, the road goes from slightly downhill to dipping downhill. The road is level again as you approach Hawthorn Bend. There's a slight uphill progression going through this section. A very long, double-apex, right-handed corner awaits you at Westfield Bend (Turn 6). The road dips down after exiting Westfield Bend. Another slight climb uphill through Dingle Dell leads to two right-handed kinks. At the end of this blast through Dingle Dell is Dingle Dell Corner (Turn 7), a right-handed corner. A brief straight follows and leads up to the very sharp left-hander at Stirling's Bend. Up next is a straight that ultimately leads back onto the Indy course. The road ahead has a brief progression downhill followed by a dip downwards. The road levels off as you approach the the final corner, a right-hander called Clark Curve. The road afterwards goes uphill a bit before dipping back down to the Start/Finish line. Another 2.613 miles of racing the Grand Prix course await you after crossing the line!
Video Laps.
Here are video laps of the two courses:

Lap Times.
Here is a look now at lap times around Brands Hatch. I will only feature lap records (source: Wikipedia)
Brands Hatch Lap Times (Indy Course)
Mansell Motorsport EuroBOSS (2004)
0:38.302!
Brands Hatch Lap Times (Grand Prix Course)
Williams-Honda FW11 (1986)
1:09.593!
! = record
Funny enough, both drivers with the current lap records are both Mansells. Scott Mansell scored the Indy lap record, and Nigel Mansell scored the Grand Prix lap record. I will add more lap times in future edits.
