Enfluist

John B. Marine | 1/28/2019 04:31:00 PM | | | Be the first to comment!
Inspiration can come from anywhere. Meet Enfluist- an online community based on inspiration. Enfluist users can shop for items and services from retailers or from other users and earn commission through PayPal. Fashion rules the roost mostly for user-inspired material, but Enfluist offers inspiration even from non-fashion and non-beauty items. So because of this, I decided to post this topic on "John's Blog Space" rather than on my "StyleSpace by JBM" blog. This blog post will fill you in on Enfluist.

A Note About Brands Posts

Either I choose to post about certain companies, or I am contacted by a company to post about them. For this post, I was contacted by the company to post about them.

Enfluist

Enfluist is a company based in Los Angeles, California, USA. They are a company that is built on the fashion community shopping for clothes from various designers. Even users of Enfluist can come up with their own store based on their own wardrobe based on items they bought. A lot of fashion blog readers often times wonder where certain personalities get their clothes or what specific items they bought. Enfluist is kind of like that, where you can shop for fashion items that they post online in their Enfluist profiles. While Enfluist is mostly popular for fashion and beauty, the company isn't exclusively about fashion and beauty.

The Three Earning Aspects.

There are three ways to be effective on Enfluist...

Shop and Earn
This one is simple- shop on Enfluist for items from over 500 different designers and brands. Earn cash back on purchases made through Enfluist.

Refer
If you can drive traffic to Enfluist with referrals, you can earn money through referring others to your purchases.

Curate Your Store
By tagging individual items in your profile, visitors can shop your outfits while you can earn from your tagged items.

If shopping and making money are your thing, Enfluist has plans for you.

ALL Fashion on Enfluist?

Actually, no. Among the many stores you can tag and link to, for example, are stores like Best Buy, The Home Depot, Pandora, and Pier 1 Imports. So there are plenty of other ways to shop and earn commission through Enfluist. For the most part, though, there are lot of fashion and beauty brands to choose from with Enfluist.

Enfluist: Final Thoughts

Enfluist is a very interesting service for which to shop and even earn commission for your purchases. It is a way to connect with others along with making money from your shopping. You can help out both companies and other people through the means of Enfluist. While the majority of Enfluist is fixated on fashion, there are other services you can shop for and tag and link to in making money. Shop. Refer. Earn commission. Enfluist has you covered on both fronts.

For More Information...

Please visit enfluist.com to get started with Enfluist. You can join with your own profile, or you can use your Facebook or Instagram account there.

Special Thanks.

I would like to thank the Enfluist team for reaching out to me so I can put together this blog post.

I hope you have enjoyed this blog post. Perhaps I have introduced you to some fine material yet again. Thank you for reading! Take care and be well.

Storm Calysta

John B. Marine | 6/30/2018 12:56:00 AM | | | | Be the first to comment!
It's raining awesome with @StormCalysta ! When the forecast calls for Storm Calysta, it rains with a vintage diva in a modern world does not disappoint with her charming vintage style and her music. This blog post is a look at someone whom I have been fond of the past few years since first following her work.

Storm Calysta

Storm Calysta
^ from: (Pinterest) - There is a 100% chance of awesome when Storm Calysta is in the forecast! :)

(Born: February 23, 1993)-year old Storm Calysta hails from Chicago, Illinois, USA; by way of Austin, Texas, USA. Yeah- a Texas girl born in Chi-Town. This major section generally features Storm Calysta at a glance.

Storm Calysta: Fashionista.

I think I first came across Storm Calysta on LOOKBOOK. So I obviously became drawn to a hot looking '70s style girl and decide to enjoy her fashion outfits. After all, bells and ruffles never go out of style. She has modeled for a number of different vintage-type and non-vintage designers including the likes of Rachel Zoe, Free People, and even American Apparel.

Storm Calysta: Music

Storm Calysta, however, is not only a pretty face- she also can strum a mean guitar and drop some vocals. She is an independent (or "indie") pop artist outside of her fashion modeling.

Here are samples of her music work. This first one is a cover of "Dreams" by Fleetwood Mac:

^ Dreams - Fleetwood Mac | Storm Calysta

I like this video a bit more because of her outfit. It's the same song from the video above, but this is a more recent video:

^ Storm Calysta - Dazer Lady Feature

By the way, how awesome does Storm Calysta look with this outfit? :) If you like her outfit in the video above, you should see these other fine pictures and outfits on Dazey LA's website: Dazey Lady Feature: Storm Calysta Talks Music - Dazey LA.

Here is one more video to share:

^ Storm Calysta - Brand New Key (live)

This is essentially a look at Storm Calysta.

Storm Calysta: Final Thoughts

I think Storm Calysta is very cool. Often times, I like her bell bottom outfits and a lot of other '70s style outfits. She has a very cool singing voice. Storm Calysta excels at style and music. She may be from the '90s, but she is very much a '70s girl. This alone adds to her coolness and awesomeness. The combination of her fashion style and her music style makes for the perfect storm of awesomeness. The perfect Storm Calysta, of course! :)

What I Would Tell Storm Calysta?

If she reads this post, just know I appreciate your work and your amazing sense of vintage fashion style. If your star isn't already shining, you are surely a superstar.

Would I Want to Meet Storm Calysta?

Oh, sure. Why not?

Sydney Celeste Rose

John B. Marine | 4/02/2017 11:49:00 PM | | | | Be the first to comment!
@Model_Celeste23 is a jack-of-all-trades entertainer. Nicknamed the "Bad Ass Barbie," Sydney Celeste Rose is a model, musician, comedian, and more. Her talent is greater than her petite frame. I first learned of her on LOOKBOOK. She shown off some of her outfits before, and I enjoyed her looks. I later went on to see some of her other modeling shoots and even listen to her music. After a while, I was sold on Sydney Celeste Rose. She is a Greek model based in North Carolina. This blog post is sort of my look at Sydney Celeste Rose.

Sydney Celeste Rose

Here are a few individual pieces in regards to Sydney Celeste Rose.

Modeling and Style of Sydney.

Sydney Celeste Rose is beautiful to look at. Her smile is very sweet complimented with her beautiful, long, curly hair. I will even say she boasts a pretty pair of legs as well. Perhaps Sydney's signature style would be some kind of leopard print incorporated into her wardrobe. Yes- she's one of those girls. Many of her outfits range from casual outfits to various chic outfits. Lingerie and swimwear also play as her fashion fortes. She has even had some more classy outfits. For the most part, Sydney mostly delivers enticing modeling in her style.

Sydney's modeling also includes promotional work. She has been a model promoting certain businesses and products.

Music of Sydney.

I don't think Sydney has the best singing voice, but I do think she puts on a great show. I actually think her singing has gotten better since I first learned of her. As of April 2, 2017; she is working on a hip-hop song with a producer named Verceti Trap Star. I wish her luck with this music project.

While this video isn't an example of her hip-hop music, this is a sample of Sydney's singing ability:

^ It's whatever (cover )

A Determined Dreamer.

What I love most about Sydney is just how real and honest she is. If anything, she is someone who you can look up to. Just having a passion to perform is also what makes Sydney special. Whether or not you think Sydney is the best at her performances is up to you, but she delivers no doubt in her work. She only stands 5'2", but her personality and her heart are much greater than her petite size. Here is a video demonstration of the heart she has with her work:

^ Question : when did you learn that grinding like no one is watching is the key to success?

And then, there is this video interview Sydney did:

^ Sydney Celeste Rose Interview

Convinced much about her heart?

Final Thoughts.

Long story short, I have great respect for Sydney Celeste Rose. Not only (mostly) for her amazing looks, but because of her determination and her heart. Nothing was handed to her- she worked for everything. Even when others said no or doubted her, she kept going because there was a much greater purpose to her work. You can not fault somebody for simply following his/her dreams. The end game is in trying to reach a level of satisfaction and success that defines her as a person and as an entity. Sydney is going to go very far if she hasn't progressed well already. She represents unrelenting courage and determination to be absolutely amazing and accomplish absolutely amazing. She also represents the "prove you wrong" type to those who doubt her. Sydney may be sassy, spicy, and wild; but she is also beautiful in heart and (obviously) looks. There is no denying she is someone born to perform and born to succeed.

What If Sydney Read This?

I have long admired you and your work. Just your personality and spirit alone are reasons why you have become the superstar you've become. Keep up the great work and keep inspiring others. Maybe some of my viewers of "John's Blog Space" will get to appreciate you and all you do.

Would I Want to Meet Sydney?

I think Sydney Celeste Rose is a very cool personality. So I'd definitely want to meet her if given the chance or meet candidly.

A Salute to Ivana

John B. Marine | 8/27/2016 01:35:00 AM | | | | Be the first to comment!
Ivana of "a little place to call my own" has been a long-time supporter and visitor of my work. So I figured I would honor this Croatian cutie with this blog post. Ivana's blog features her fashion, travel, and art insights. There is a little of everything that this Croatian blogger offers to the online realm. Even still, I want to salute her out of love and respect. While I do get blog hits from Croatia (hello to any and all Croatians reading this post), I figured I'd do the nation proud by paying respect to one of Croatia's own in this "John's Blog Space" post.

NOTES: Because I've seen her under certain surnames, I will only refer to her as Ivana. To avoid any copyright issues, I will not hotlink any images.

A Salute to Ivana

This video gives you a little idea of Ivana and her voice and looks:

^ "Book review Pawn of Prophecy by David Eddings"

To be honest, I like Ivana's voice. I was doing my research for this topic and came across this video. Anyhow, moving on...

Ivana is from Split, Croatia. I am not sure if I found the Croatian blogger's material or if she found me. Either way, I am pleased to come across her in some capacity. She runs a blog called "a little place to call my own." Her blog really is more than just about fashion. While fashion is a focus of the blog, she also shares some of her illustrations as well as travel insights. You know you are in for something special when even a post regarding some location is just as detailed as any of her fashion posts. So rather than just fashion, Ivana offers travel and art insight. While I haven't seen every last post of hers, I do check in at times to gauge her fashion style. Ivana's blog is available in both English and Croatian.

There is no real concrete definition or designation of her fashion style. Not so much into trends, but she does a fine job putting together a lot of outfits. Most of her style is rather classy and modest. So nothing overly casual or overly elegant is featured. You can get an idea of her fashion style by looking at Ivana's LOOKBOOK profile.

The reason why I am honoring Ivana is because she has been a regular visitor and comments often to my posts. To show my support, I've offered this post as well as offering my respect to this lady. I am hopeful she can appreciate me devoting an entire blog post to her. Since "a place to call my own" isn't entirely a fashion blog, that's why I am featuring her here in my main blog rather than in my fashion blog, "StyleSpace by JBM." Either way, I am thankful and pleased to gain a loyal visitor. Not just a loyal visitor, but someone who offers some timely insight.

I know I say that "John's Blog Space" is a blog about anything and everything. If you were to categorize it as one specific kind of blog, JBS is a personal blog. It is a personal blog that has a professional feel to it and with professional material. Since this is a personal blog, I often times mix up topics and even offer differing topics. I may offer something educational in one post and then go and make something personal in another. All of this adds to the appeal of "John's Blog Space." Besides this sort of chatter, I find great importance in trying to pay respect in people all around the world. So it is great to try to provide honor and respect to others. One of my initial goals for 2016 anyways was to pay tribute to certain individuals as a means of celebrating people and showing respect to others. And of course... to offer something positive amid the various negativity online.

For More Information...

Could there be others I may salute in the future? Perhaps. I do hope you enjoyed this blog post and perhaps got to know a special individual online. On that note, thank you for reading! Take care and be well.

Danielle Fishel

John B. Marine | 5/05/2016 10:50:00 PM | | | | | | Be the first to comment!
Danielle Fishel is best known either as Topanga on "Boy Meets World," or as the host of the late Style Network show, "The Dish." Either way, the native of Mesa, Arizona, USA is a bubbly and fun personality. This blog post takes a look at this unique personality.

Before I Begin...

The date of this original blog post (May 5) is her birthday, so Happy birthday, Danielle Fishel! :)

Danielle Fishel

Here is the beauty from the Grand Canyon State:

Danielle Fishel
^ from: (Twitter) - Oh, look! It's Danielle Fishel! It's Topanga!

A little girl named Danielle Christine Fishel was brought into the world on May 5, 1981 in Mesa, Arizona, USA. Little Danielle would grow up to become an accomplished actress as well as a successful TV show host. Many people know her best as Topanga on the hit sitcom "Boy Meets World." I would follow (and love) her as host of "The Dish" on the Style Network. No matter how you came across Danielle Fishel, she is funny and bubbly. In my research of this topic, I learned she's a petite- 5'1". So to you petite ladies reading this blog post... Danielle is one of your fellow petites!

"The Dish" Retrospective.

Because I know her in "The Dish" than I do in "Boy Meets World," let me just say I began to appreciate Danielle Fishel's personality and charm on "The Dish." The Dish was a show that offered funny takes on some of the most interesting bits in entertainment and in fashion. As Style Network was running out of shows that highlighted on fashion, it was refreshing to see this show each weekend. The one thing I hated was that the show was moved to a certain time slot I felt I wouldn't be able to see regularly. So the sinking ship of Style Network had The Dish as its saving grace. Danielle Fishel was a wonderful host of a wonderful show.

For those who may remember some of my past posts, I included Danielle Fishel among the Mountain beauties of my American Beauties posts.

Danielle Fishel in Videos

Here are a few videos of Danielle Fishel. Get a feel for her quirky personality:

• Here is a look at Danielle Fishel's book:

^ Danielle Fishel's Normally, This Would be Cause for Concern

• This is a live interview Danielle Fishel was given:

^ Danielle Fishel (Topanga) Today Show Interview | LIVE 9-8-14

• I have NEVER seen "Boy Meets World," but I have to provide SOMETHING to show Danielle as Topanga as a big part of this post and a big part of her personality. So I am featuring this video:

^ Boy Meets World- Cory and Topanga's (almost) first time | The Honeymooners

• Here is some of her humor, especially from "The Dish." I loved this show on Style Network:

^ "When Bad Fashion Happens To Good Celebrities - The Dish"

In case you're wondering, I made mention of The Dish in my "StyleSpace by JBM" blog post called "Remembering Style Network." A link to that post will be included later in this blog post.

Honestly... how can you NOT love Danielle Fishel?

Danielle Fishel: Final Thoughts

I think Danielle Fishel is not only lovely in looks, but also in personality. She isn't going to blow you away with a bodacious body or have any brash personality. However, she will astound you with her unique and quirky personality. The demise of Style Network meant it was sad to see "The Dish" go. I loved watching that show and what Danielle brought to it.

If Danielle is Reading This...

I have great respect for you and your work. Best of luck to you in all of you endeavors.

Would I Like to Meet Danielle (if given the chance)?

Absolutely! Especially after praising her on various levels, I'd surely would like to meet Danielle Fishel.

Belarusian beauty @AnitaKurkach is known for her fashion style. Besides fashion, she is also a recording artist. This blog post is my own introduction to the beautiful Anita Kurkach. I hope to introduce her and talk about her in my own way here in my blog. Feel free to look around and enjoy this post.

A Special Hello...

I'd like to say hello to any of you from Belarus or of Belarusian descent to "John's Blog Space." I do often times note that I get blog posts from Belarus. So in that sense, I welcome all of you to my fine online abode.

--- Anita Kurkach ---

So who is Anita Kurkach? That would be this lady in this picture:

Anita Kurkach
^ from: (her Twitter feed) - This is fashionista and recording artist Anita Kurkach from the eastern European nation of Belarus.

When I blogged about eastern European beauties, I mentioned (born: February 26, 19??) Anita Kurkach. So some of you veteran readers of "John's Blog Space" may have seen me make mention to her. Anita is a fellow blogger who runs the blog "The Anita Kurkach Diaries." Here are some extra bits of mine to share on Anita.

Anita Kurkach: Fashion.

I first learned of Anita Kurkach on the LOOKBOOK circuit. This Belarusian beauty from Minsk, Belarus is someone with a unique and charming fashion style. Many of her outfits are casual. At times, she does incorporate elements of edge as well as some very girly pieces. She loves to perform not only with fashion, but also in music. For the most part, she has fun with fashion is mostly upbeat and positive- smiling often all the while.

Personally, I think Anita Kurkach is a very beautiful lady. Her smile is very sweet, and her face looks lovely. She has angelic long hair. Whether wrapped up or hung downwards, Anita's hair is about as lovely as her smile. Anita even goes with ombré hair colors adding some color to her beautifully long hair. She normally goes with wavy hair, but she also has some wonderful braided hair at times. To say the least, she looks angelic.

So what is her fashion style like in action? Here is a brief video showcasing only a small sample size of her varied sense of style:

^ "...Pastel outfits!"

You can visit Anita Kurkach's YouTube channel to see some of her different fashion videos. This link will appear again later in this post.

Anita Kurkach: Music.

Here is some musical insight on the lovely Anita Kurkach. The first three videos are all original pieces by Anita Kurkach. I added the final video as another bit of her singing talent. Enjoy!

^ "Anita Kurkach - Alive (Official Music Video)"

^ Melody (Anita Kurkach) - One life (original song)

I must warn you that you may need to turn up the volume with this video. Here is another original track of hers. This time... a non-English song:

^ Melody ( Anita Kurkach ) - Ya si sera (original song )

The previous three videos are original songs of hers. This video, however, here is one of the different cover songs she has sung before. Check this out:

I curiously found "One Life" from Anita Kurkach and enjoyed it.

You are a beautiful lady with unique and charming style. Since learning of you first on LOOKBOOK, I am very appreciative and admirable of your style in fashion and in music. I would like to wish you the very best in all arenas of life important and intimate to you. I wish you also great success and fortune in all that you do.

And most of all, greetings to you from the United States! :)
