The Baltic States and Nordic countries make up the Northern Europe Beauties. I had already previously mentioned Denmark (which is a Nordic country) in my Central European Beauties post, so that won't be among the countries featured here. You will see a number of different personalities representing this specified region. In parentheses () is the nation represented in this post. Someone must either be from that nation or is of some sort of decent from that nation. So for example, an American-born person of Swiss decent or part-Swiss decent would qualify as a Swiss person in this post.

Northern Europe is represented in this part of the European Beauties series. Even though Denmark is considered part of Northern Europe, I've already featured Danish beauties in my "Central European Beauties" blog post. The following locations are featured:• Lithuania

For this section, I will be discussing Northern Europe, which starts with the Baltic States. I will then be ABSOLUTELY sure to make mention to Scandinavia. I will challenge myself to find some lovelies to represent Iceland, and even more challenged to find someone from Greenland. Why Greenland? Well, even though Greenland is a Danish territory, and even though I listed Denmark among my Central European Beauties, I am going to put Greenland among Northern European beauties for this post. No image hotlinking to any bloggers will be featured. This is to avoid certain copyright issues. So if you see a blog I make mention to, click on the heading to that entry to visit that person's blog in the case of blogging beauties.
--- Before I Begin... Lighthearted Musings ---
Let me kind of warm up the mood before sharing some beauties. Maybe you can respond to some of these...• of the Baltic States, I tend to get the most hits from Lithuania regularly. I tend to get an equal amount of blog hits often times from Latvia and Estonia. Latvia itself a lovely nation. Its capital city is Riga.
• I love my readers from Scandinavia (as much as I do all over the world). I commonly get blog views from Finland and Sweden. I best know of Finland for all of its racing talent as well as the Rally Finland- one of my personal favorite rally races. One of my past blog posts was about Arctic Circle Raceway, which is located somewhere in Mo I Rana. I even get some Norway hits as well. At one point, my northernmost blog hit came from Tromsø. It has since no longer been my northernmost blog hit. In fact, the northernmost blog hit I've ever observed came from some city or town very close to Barrow, Alaska, USA.
• The Faroe Islands are east of Norway, north-northwest of Scotland, and east-southeast of Iceland. The Aland Islands are a small set of islands midway between southwestern Finland and Sweden.
• I do get hits from Iceland from time to time. Only city I know of in Iceland is its capital- Reykjavik.
• When it comes to Greenland, there were some very rare times I got blog hits from Greenland. Have I ever come across anyone from Denmark? Well, on Myspace, there was a girl whom I got to know on Myspace from Nuuk, which is in southwestern Greenland.
• Did you know that the PHP programming language was created by a Greenlander? A fellow named Rasmus Lerdorf helped create PHP.

WWE Diva Aksana is from Alytus, Lithuania. Anyone who follows the WWE may have known of her bonding with Theodore Long, and she was the former girlfriend of Swiss wrestler (and former rugby footballer) Antonio Cesaro. She was once just someone who didn't wrestle too much. But one night on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Aksana made her wrestling debut and stunned a powerful opponent. Jelena Prokopcuka (Latvia).
Latvian Jelena Prokopcuka is a long-distance runner from Riga, Latvia. The (born: September 21, 1976)-year old has competed in and won a number of competitions in her career. On September 16, 1976, a baby girl named Elina Garanca was born in Riga, Latvia. This girl would grow up to become a sopranoist. If you enjoy soprano music, here is a performance for you. Inguna Butane (Latvia).

Meet model Ginta Lapina. She was born in Riga, Latvia on June 30, 1989. Her portfolio includes designing and modeling for many world-renowned designers, and she's even been in a handful of advertisements for various big time designers and brands. Carmen Kass (Estonia).
Carmen Kass has walked many a runway in her long career. The native of Tallinn, Estonia was born on September 14, 1978 and grew up in Mäo, Estonia. She has been a model appearing in various major fashion shows and part of advertisements for major designers and retailers. Besides modeling, she took on political aspirations to be part of Parliment in her native Estonia. So she is someone who is as much at home representing her nation. Eda-Ines Etti (Estonia).
Born in Haapsalu, Estonia, Eda-Ines Etti is a musician who goes by the stage name of Ines. She is best known for her performance and participation in the 2000 Eurovision Song Contest. Her song "Once in a Lifetime" was chosen as the song to represent Estonia in the 2000 Eurovision Song Contest. This video below is a music sample of the (born: May 26, 1981)-year old Estonian. Kerli Kõiv (Estonia).
This is Kerli Koiv- a petite (she's 5'1") recording artist from Estonia. She was born in Elva, Estonia and is often simply referred to as Kerli. Some of her more popular songs include "Army of Love" and "Walking on Air." She is comparable in personality and character as Lady Gaga. Both Kerli and Lady Gaga are the same height. Biggest difference is that Kerli is a bit more of a Goth-style person with piercings on her face than the more artistic Lady Gaga. Here is a sample music video of this Estonian. Miss Finland (Miss Suomi) 2013 is Lotta Hintsa. Lotta has a lotta' beauty in her (or why would she be here if she isn't lovely?). She used to be a store manager for a shoe dealer in Finland. Lotta was born in Nurmo, Seinäjoki, Finland in 1988. Even though this video is in Finnish, it still showcases this fabulous Finn and her glorious beauty. Jazmine is probably the only Finnish blogger I know of right away. She's a pretty Finnish beauty who posts a lot of outfit posts and some random pictures. This blog post was posted in September, so here is Sweden's September. September- real name of Petra Marklund - had some of her fame in the previous decade with songs like "Cry for You" and "Satellites." September was born on September 12 in 1984. Nice to know you take a stage name of the month you were born. Wouldn't make too much sense to be named September and be born in October now, wouldn't it? Robyn (Sweden).
Not exactly a "beauty," Robyn is still one awesome girl. (Born: June 12, 1979)-year old Robyn Miriam Carlsson of Stockholm, Sweden first made fame in the mid-late 1990s as a pop singer. Her first hit song here in the United States was with "Do You Know (What it Takes?)" One of my other favorite songs of hers from her "Robyn is Here" album was "Do You Really Want Me?" In later years, she'd come up with another great album called "Konichiwa Bitches." (Pardon the language) Robyn is no doubt a great singer. Margaret Berger (Norway).
Electro pop singer Margaret Berger was born in Trondheim, Norway on October 11, 1985. She was the Norway representative in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest. Let the Norwegian sing for you with this song. Eivør Pálsdóttir (Faroe Islands).
(Born: July 21, 1983)-year old Eivør Pálsdóttir is a Faroese singer. She was born in Syðrugøta, Faroe Islands. This lady is often just named as Eivør. Her music is mostly entrenched in folk rock and in Faroese ballads. I want to show you this video for two reasons. Björk (Iceland).
Maybe Iceland's most popular figure is legendary singer Björk Guðmundsdóttir- or just Björk. She was born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland; and she came into the world on November 21, 1965. Björk is best regarded for her unusual and unorthodox character as well as her amazing music. In fact, one can say Björk was the Lady Gaga of her time as far as being artistic and expressive. (Born: May 6, 1989)-year old Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir is the lead vocalist and lead guitarist of the Icelandic folk rock music group Of Monsters and Men. On LOOKBOOK, I came across a young fashionista who is from Iceland. Her name is Thorunn Ivarsdottir. Her fashion blog features the sweet-smiling beauty and her delightful sense of style. It is about her own personal style.Aleqa Hammond (Greenland).
The current Prime Minister of Greenland is native Greenlander Aleqa Hammond. Born September 23, 1965 in Narsaq, Greenland; Aleqa is the first-ever female Prime Minister of Greenland, representing the Siumut party in Greenlandic government. I don't discuss or follow politics at all, so any mention of her in regards to government will be off-limits. I am only showing this video only so you can see how Aleqa Hammond. Agnethe Davidsen (Greenland - Deceased).

Agnethe Davidsen was the first-ever female minister in of government in Greenland as well as serving as major of her native Nuuk, Greenland. She was a native Greenlander, born August 29, 1947 in Nuuk, Greenland. Agnethe Davidsen died at age 60 on November 25, 2007. This is about one of few Greenlanders I could find and whom I consider to be lovely. Remember- these Beauties-themed posts are not just about featuring anyone, it's about featuring anyone whom I think are lovely in some sort of way.
I may add more personalities in future edits, so stay tuned! This initial list I've created is simply a look at some of many different lovelies representing this region.
