Heidi Van Horne

You may remember I've mentioned Heidi Van Horne in my blog entry on pin-up girl style. I've gotten to meet her at the 2010 Houston Auto Show. She's the first pin-up girl I've ever met or encountered. For those of you who don't know what a pin-up girl is, it is basically a model whose beauty and charm are vintage. Think of advertisements back between the 1920s to 1960s.

Before we begin, here is for who this blog entry is about:

--- Heidi Van Horne ---

From what I've read initially about her, Heidi Van Horne was born in New Jersey and raised here in Texas. Heidi is a modern pin-up girl. Many of today's women are trying to show off the latest fashions and trends. Heidi, however, shows that 1940s and 1960s vintage is still cool regardless of what 21st century types think.

I first got to meet her at the 2010 Houston Auto Show. I walked over to the classic car collection at the Houston Auto Show and saw a photo shoot session go on. It wasn't just Heidi, but also another pin-up type girl there too at the stand. I complimented her pin-up girl look as she sported a red tank top, dark blue skinny jeans, and some cute black peep-toe pumps. Her beauty was hot even though it was a cold day at the 2010 Houston Auto Show. It was just completely surreal that someone can look like a 1940s or 1960s flyer or poster... and you're right in front of a pin-up girl! Almost like a pin-up girl that peels herself off of a vintage advertisement to live in today's world.

Aside from modeling, Heidi big on classic cars. She is a columnist for the "In Motion" section. She is also an actress who did some work for shoes like (thanks: Wikipedia) Gilmore Girls and ER among others.

--- What I Would Say to Heidi Van Horne if She Read This? ---

Heidi, please keep up the great work with all that you do. You are a sensational person.

Would I Want to Meet Heidi Van Horne (if given the chance)?

I've met her before at the Houston Auto Show once, so I'd surely want to meet her again.

Needless to say, I have great respect for this lady. She is a beautiful lady with a love of classic cars as well as a fantastic pin-up girl. For more about Heidi Van Horne, here are some online resources:
