Firefox 4
I downloaded Firefox 4 last night and gave it a test. Firefox 4 is the latest evolution of the vastly successful Firefox browser. The earliest reviews I have for Firefox 4 is that Firefox 4 indeed does run six times faster than FireFox 3.6.10. The new Firefox is designed to be faster and lighter. You could even have Firefox 4 have the menu bar removed and replaced with a single button that features all the menu commands in a single "Firefox" button. In a way, this feature makes Firefox as light as Google Chrome. Also, a plus for Firefox 4 was that add-ons will install automatically without requiring a restart of Firefox.
The only negatives in making the transition from Firefox 3 to Firefox 4 was that some of my add-ons were not compatible with Firefox 4. One of them was an add-on that allowed you to restart Firefox. I was able to find a version compatible with Firefox 4. Three others still are incompatible with Firefox 4. Otherwise with this initial version, I am pretty impressed with Firefox 4. Most of the time, updated software or something else updated usually exasperates problems rather than solve them. This new Firefox seems to run much better than the previous version.

I downloaded it a few weeks ago, but I really wasn t that satisfied with its performance so I switched back to the old version. I don t know what to say, I had some problems with the add-ons and the mail:-s Have a great weekend, John!:)
I downloaded it when it just came out, but it seems that it's still a bit buggy and unable to load some pages.
Thanks for sharing. :)
