African Beauties

John B. Marine | 2/24/2011 08:27:00 PM | | |
(UPDATED: March 16, 2014)

Lovely ladies of Africa and of African descent are on the menu for this blog post. This blog post features only a fraction of some of Africa's loveliest of ladies. For some reason, I have somewhat recently become fascinated with Africa. Having an international audience is something I always try to establish and maintain. I do [regularly] get blog hits from various African nations such as South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Algiers, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and even Mauritius. One way I can try to get more support is to post blog entries that I think my African readers can appreciate. And so, I figured I'd extend my "Beauties" label to include some lovely ladies from Africa and/or of African descent. This is kind of like a blog post to show appreciation for my blog readers/subscribers in and from Africa.

LATEST UPDATE(S):

MAR 16 2014 - extensive and multiple updates and edits; added note

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

(March 16, 2014)
Thanks to everyone for making this post so popular! On another note, however, I may consider re-doing this blog post by deleting this original post and separating the post into individual regions, as I've done with some future blog posts. This is just to make editing easier and to better sort out the individuals I make mention to here. I have not made a decision as of yet. However, it is something I am considering. If you wouldn't mind seeing this topic re-done, contact me online and let me know if I should break this up into individual parts (for example: West Africa, East Africa, Southern Africa, etc.).

Thank you for your cooperation. I hope you enjoy this blog post.

--- African Beauties at a Glance ---

Hailing from Houston, we are a diverse people with many people of many cultures. I have known many people from Nigeria and/or of Nigerian descent. I have become quite a bit indulged in African culture.

The main point of this blog post is to make mmention to some of Africa's beautiful women as well as to enhance the scope of my international audience. The hope of this blog post is to perhaps get more worldwide blog hits by focusing on some of Africa's loveliest ladies. This blog post features either ladies of African descent or have some part descent of Africa. The main criteria for the most part involves African-born ladies.

To help express African beauties, I will divide my blog post into five regions: Northern Africa, Western Africa, Central Africa, Eastern Africa, and Southern Africa. Each section will feature at least three ladies from each sector of Africa. I will try to introduce you to each beauty as best as I can. I would like to salute and welcome all of the various represented African nations that I make mention to in this blog post as well as every African nation who finds and reads this blog post.

How This Blog Post Works.

If you see hypertext headings for any of the ladies mentioned in this blog post, it means they have a website or something that you can visit to learn more about each featured lady. The different regions are established by the individual regions of Africa. I have included the countries to each region of Africa just to categorize the five different regions I will try to showcase in this blog post. The models featured are not be featured in any specific order. The ones you see here are some of the many lovely ladies of and from Africa or of African descent. These may be full-blooded African ladies, or some part-African ladies. I won't feature everyone from every country, but I will do my best to include as many as possible. The nationalities represented by each beauty are expressed in parentheses.

More may be featured in future edits. Here is the order for which I will feature each region of Africa:

Order of Featured Locations:
1.) Western Africa
2.) Eastern Africa
3.) Central Africa
4.) Northern Africa
5.) Southern Africa

I will try to find other pictures if I can not use any of the ones I was able to find. Having said this, let's begin!

What a fantastic post!! I truly enjoyed reading about each and every one of these ladies who are all stunning in their own way. I appreciate how you broke down each country from each region especially because all too often, people say "Africa" and never seem to realize that there are hundreds of nations within the beautiful continent. I also appreciate the fact that you shouted out the beauty queens, actresses, models, singers and DJ's because people from African nations are usually portrayed as hungry, poor, flea-bitten souls and such is not the case, as evidenced by your post! Thank you, great job, John!
