The car: The Maserati GranTurismo

I'm going to be honest... I'm not really a Maserati fan. But if there is a Maserati that I think is just awesome to look at, it's called (well, besides the MC12) the Maserati GranTurismo. Now I normally do a lot of Gran Turismo videos, but this one concerns the car, not the video game series. And it's the one-word GranTurismo. Maserati's slogan is "Excellence Through Passion."

Maserati couldn't have made a lovelier car than this (besides the MC12). This car is eye-catching and ferocious. It's almost as if this car is a tiger who isn't afraid to dismember your body with his teeth or paws. It's got PLENTY of roar, I'll tell you that much.

The car is a beautiful machine up front. The big grill is styled beautifully, a bit like some of the beautiful Formula 1 cars from the 1950s and 1960s (like the like the 1955 Maserati 250F). The headlights are sharply styled and match the sharp character of the entire car. Under the lights are some nice fog lights. Under the fog lights and big front grill is a long opening that adds to the aggression. The front quarter panels are flanked with some overfender and three side vents. These vents should ONLY be on Buicks and Maseratis, not those phony tacked-on openings some aftermarket cars have. The sides are sharp and beautiful. The mirrors are lovely and aerodynamic. The muscular overfenders are also prevalent on the rear quarter panels. The tailights are also sharp, while also being stylish at the same time. Dual exhaust mufflers flank both sides of the rear bumper. The car's aggressive character is all packaged beautifully outside. There are also some oval exhaust tips for the car as another option, I think.

The car is aggressive on the outside and under the hood, but its interior character is luxurious. The steering wheel is lovely along with the gauges. The center console features a lovely computer console along with the air conditioning deal. The seats are luxurious and seemingly very comfortable, as you might expect from a luxury make like Maserati. The one recommendation- say "no!" to the all-red interior. I don't like the all-red interior. Thankfully, you can choose other interior options besides the red interior. There are some other options like almond interior with wood trim, for example.

This car is (as British would say) sex on wheels. It is a car that is both luxurious and beastly at the same time without being too lenient either way. It's an awesome car and one of my few favorite Maseratis.
