My Asian Beauties series FINALLY is updated with a new batch of lovely ladies to showcase. This time, I am mentioning beautiful women of Central Asia. These include the nations of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan. Asian ladies are in the spotlight yet again but with a new blog post. And let me tell you- I have had a very tough time coming up with this one. It may be one of the toughest "Beauties" blog posts I've ever done due to the lack of information and picture data I've tried to find on many of the featured names.

When most people think of Asian people and things, many people (understandably) think of Asia along the Pacific Rim and many of the outlying Pacific islands around Asia. In this series of blog posts regarding Asian beauties, I will showcase various Asian women as some of the most beautiful from this featured part of the world. I will be sure to feature many more lovely ladies from this certain sector of the world in more posts.

I may plan on doing Middle Eastern beauties separately. Either that, or I may include another blog post in this Asian beauty series to feature Middle Eastern ladies.

Asian Beauties: Central Asia.

Central Asia consists of five nations: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Krygstan, and Turkmenistan. I am familiar with only two of these five nations- Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Part of the challenge of blogging about this topic is in being introduced to and learning about certain nations I am not familiar with. It is also challenging because it is tough for me to find certain pictures or other media regarding such personalities.

How This Blog Post Works.

You will see certain ladies from the seven represented nations that make up East Asia. Here are the represented nations in order:

• Kazakhstan - ladies from Kazakhstan or of Kazakh descent.
• Uzbekistan - ladies from Uzbekistan or of Uzbek descent.
• Tajikistan - ladies from Tajikistan or of Tajikistani descent.
• Kyrgyzstan - ladies from Kyrgyzstan or of Kyrgyzstani descent.
• Turkmenistan - ladies from Turkmenistan or of Turkmen descent.

So let's get started! Some information on featured people were provided by Wikipedia searches. I may only make mention to certain ladies if I can't find pictures, websites, or videos on each featured lady. Don't forget that I may edit this post from time to time to update my material.

Because I am most familiar with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan more than the other three nations, I'll start with these two. Before I begin, let me tell you something. This "Beauties" post was very hard for me because I could not find a whole lot of ladies to feature here, and the information I tried to use is just enough make a decent mention of each personality. I still tried my best to find anything on any of the ladies featured here. I hate disappointing people; and if I do disappoint you, I am deeply sorry. I've done my best. So let me share with you some lovely ladies from Central Asia.

Hello to all of my readers from Kazakhstan! I would like to share some of your lovely ladies in this blog post to this international blog. I know very litle about Kazakhstan, but I can somewhat find it properly on a map. The capital of Kazakhstan is Astana. Of the five nations featured in this post, Kazakhstan is the largest-size country of the five featured nations here. Now let's meet some of Kazakhstan's ladies!

Gaukhar Rakhmetaliyeva (Kazakhstan).

Miss Kazakhstan in 2007 is one (born: 1983) Gaukhar Rakhmetaliyeva. She is only the second-ever woman to represent as Miss Kazakhstan at Miss Universe since Dina Nuraliyeva (she represented Miss Kazakhstan in 2006).

Zhanna Zhumaliyeva (Kazakhstan).

Born on July 26, 1987, Zhanna is a Kazakh model from Uralsk. She won Miss Kazakhstan 2010 as well as Miss World 2011.

Olga Tereshkova (Kazakhstan).

This (born: October 26, 1984)-old is a beauty who is a solid runner from Kazakhstan. She runs 400-meter sprints.

Aibina, of "Aibina's Blog" (Kazakhstan).

Hailing from Kazahkstan's capital city- Astana, Aibina Yeshkeeva is a fashion blogger who shares her looks and outfits with the world. The young blogger is very beautiful with immense fashion charm and goddess-like beauty. Her styles can range from cute and casual to classy and gorgeous. I have continually admire and respect her for her sense of style. I think anyone into fashion blogs should give "Aibina's Blog" a visit. Her blog is bilingual with posts offered both in English and Russian.

Central Asian Beauties: Uzbekistan

Time to talk about Uzbekistan. Hello to all of my readers from Uzbekistan! I know only one thing about Uzbekistan- its capital is Tashkent. Uzbekistan is south-southwest of Kazakhstan.

Nadiya Dusanova (Uzbekistan).

(Born: November 17, 1987)-year old Nadiya Dusanova is a high jumper. The native of Tashkent, Uzbekistan competed in the Olympics for High Jumping, but did not advance to the Finals. Her only triumph in representing Uzbekistan was when she won Gold in High Jumping at the 2009 Asian Indoor Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Milana Vayntrub (Uzbekistan).

So maybe you don't know this name. But if you watch a lot of commercials on American TV, have you seen AT&T girl Lily? Lily in the AT&T commercials is (born: March 8, 1987)-year old Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub from Tashkent, Uzbekistan (the capital of Uzbekistan). Milana is a political refugee escaping from some of the many sanctions and such from her native Uzbekistan. I think Milana is very cute. I may not give you my list of favorite commercials featuring her, but Milana is surely a lovely lady. I just didn't know she is from Uzbekistan.


That's as best as I could do. Maybe I'll find some more to feature here in the future.

Central Asian Beauties: Tajikistan

And now, one of three of these nations I am not familiar with. Tajikistan is to the east-southeast of Uzbekistan. Hello to any readers who may be from Tajikistan.

Nilufar Sherzod (Tajikistan).

Nilufar Sherzod won Miss Tajikistan 2010 and Miss United Nations 2010. Pictures of her can be seen on Nilufar's ModelMayhem page.

To the north-northeast of Tajikistan is Krygyzstan. Its capital city and largest city is Bishkek, in northern Krygyzstan. Hello to any readers who may be reading this post from this nation!

Central Asian Beauties: Turkmenistan

The final featured nation of the five is Turkmenistan. This country is north of Iran and south of Uzbekistan.

Elena Satushkina (Turkmenistan).

I could not find any real information on Elena Satushkina to share with you here. Elena was 21 years old when she competed in China Miss Friendship International 2009, representing Turkmenistan. This is all I can unfortunately pull up about her.


That's all I could do for featuring Turkmenistan.





Like I said before- I wish I could find more to feature. My "Beauties" posts usually are pretty popular as I feature more people. It's just difficult to find even most of the ones I eventually featured here. Goes to show you that while the Internet has a wealth of information, you can only go so far with that information. I say I'd be pretty impressed with my efforts to bring you all at least SOMETHING to feature to keep this blog rolling. So that concludes my look at beautiful women from Central Asia as part of my Asian Beauties series.

In case you're wondering, I am working on and/or considering other kinds of "Beauties" posts. There are other different region-based beauties I want to focus on internationally as well as some non-region based material. Who knows what in the "Beauties" series I will focus on next? I'm sorry it's taken this long. I work on so many other posts that I sometimes don't make enough time for certain topics I know my readers would be interested in. I hope you appreciate my efforts to make this post even remotely useful and chatworthy.

Ladies from India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, and Bhutan will be featured here. I want to honor all of my South Asian visitors to my blog. This post wasn't too much a challenge compared to Southeast Asia. However, I eventually want to try my hand at discussing Middle Eastern beauties. Information on some of the featured ladies were tough to come by. So instead of trying to hunt for pictures and videos, I simply just make mention to them and maybe offer a link if you're interested.

Because I had intended this to be about just beautiful women from India, I'll start with India. I have always wanted to treat my loyal readers from India with some quality content. This is hopefully a start. And perhaps, I'll start with a few famous ladies from India. I would like to welcome any and all blog readers from India. Namaste!

Aishwarya Rai (India).

Often touted by media as being "the most beautiful woman in the world," Aishwarya Rai was the first Bollywood beauty I heard of. This (born: November 1, 1973)-year old is truly one of the loveliest ladies in the world whether you like her or not. She was born in Mangalore, India. Her career includes both modeling and acting. Lara Dutta (India).

Meet Lara Dutta. This beauty from India is an actress as well as a former Miss Universe winner. The (born: April 16, 1978)-year old has been around the block (so to speak) in a variety of different media outlets, including singing. Here is Lara Dutta singing. This is some more Bollywood music loving for all of you:

Priyanka Chopra (India).

Priyanka Chopra, or "Piggy Chops" (from the co-stars of "Bluffmaster!") is an actress and the 2000 winner of the Miss World pageant. The (born: July 18, 1982)-year old's first movie was "Thamizhan" in 2002. She'd enter the realm of Bollywood movies with "The Hero: Love Story of a Spy" as well as "Andaaz." She won the Best Female Debut Award for her role in "Andaaz." Priyanka was so good as being so bad when she won "Best Villain" for her villain role in "Aitrazz" in 2004. Besides acting, she has recently taken up on singing. This beauty from Jamshedpur, Jharkand, India is really one of the finest in Bollywood media. Parvathy Omanakuttan (India).

(December 20, 1987)-year old Parvathy Omanakuttan is a lovely, young, Indian beauty. The native of Kottayam, Kerala, India won Miss India World in 2008. She stands 5'8" tall. Parvathy has done some acting. Her acting career includes three Bollywood flicks. It began with "United Six," and she even acted in "Umamaheshwaram" and "Billa 2." Allow Parvathy to introduce herself to you:

Shreya Ghoshal (India).

Introducing Shreya Ghoshal- a lovely singer from India. Born on March 12, 1984; this indulgent Indian beauty is mostly known for her playback singing in various Bollywood movies. She was born in Durgapur, West Bengal, India.

Shraddha Sharma (India).

She became the hottest singing sensation in India. She is a sweet-faced young cutie. She has also done some acting before. Who is she? Her name is Shraddha Sharma, a teenage girl (she's 16 as of the date of this initial blog post) proudly representing Dehradun, India. She plays acoustic guitar while singing sweetly. Besides her illustriuous career, she was known as the first woman to win the Bigg Boss reality TV show competition.

In my initial blog post, I absolutely forgot to mention this lady I blogged about once. Sometimes, I think too much about forgetting to include certain things. One of those was Aarti Sequeira. (Born: August 19, 1978)-year old Aarti Sequeira is a Indian beauty born in Mumbai, India; and she was raised in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She was a contestant of "The Next Food Network Star" Season 6. I always thought she was a humble and sweet person though I've never seen a single episode of "The Next Food Network Star." I have, however, seen "Aarti Party" on Food Network before. Aarti showcases Indian cuisine as well as add an Indian twist to various foods and meals. Away from cooking, Aarti is both an inspiration and a beautiful woman. Aarti Sequeira went from taking various cooking lessons and not knowing where her life would lead next... to being the host of her own cooking show on Food Network by winning "The Next Food Network Star." She went from hosting her own cooking show on YouTube to hosting a cooking show for people to watch on TV. Her mantra to the world: "Eat. Giggle. Repeat."

Vera Mindy Chokalingam (B.K.A. Mindy Kaling) (India).

Ayantika is an Indian beauty whom I learned of by reading "Veil of Illusions." Her hair is beautiful along with her smile. Her outfits range from casual pieces to more traditional pieces of Hindu clothing. For instance, some of her outfits include some delightfully stunning saris/sarees worn by her. So get ready for a little of everything from the beautiful Ayantika.

Rakhshanda is one of my most recent supporters of my blogging. I have long wanted to update my older Beauties posts, and I want to salute the beautiful Rakshanda among my beauties. "Chamber of beauty...." is mostly a blog with beauty insight as well as some outfit posts. Rakhshanda is a lady with beautiful hair and a sweet smile. Her eyes sparkle like diamonds. India has many lovely ladies; this blog post features only so many. I was working on a Bollywood music post for "John's Blog Space." I still haven't ruled out releasing a post on that topic in the future. I really want to try to expand my international reading audience.

While Veena Malik is a lovely lady (otherwise... why would she be in a "Beauties" post of mine?), controversy arose as this Pakistani actress was given lukewarm reception from her own Pakistani audience for how she portrayed Pakistan in the fourth season of "Bigg Boss." She was born Zahida Malik and is a native of Rawalpindi, Pakistan (northern Pakistan, near the Pakistani capital of Islamabad). Many have either loved or loathed Veena for her character and her views.

Sheena Melwani (Pakistan).

Sheena Melwani is a beautiful South Asian lady with an equally beautiful voice. I was blown away when I heard her voice. She sang a rather dramatic version of "Fireflies" from Owl City. Her voice made me cry because it sounded so beautiful. As much as I like "Fireflies," her version was beautiful. According to an interview I read online, Sheena is Sindhi, which is a region of southern Pakistan. This is Sheena Melwani and the first video of hers I've seen. It led me to admire her voice:

Southeast Asian Beauties

Continuing my Beauties series on Asian ladies, I now introduce Southeast Asia into this discussion. This post includes ladies from places like Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines... all among MANY other locations. This Asian Beauties series continues with Southeast Asian beauties. I would like to welcome and salute all people from the aforementioned countries representing this blog post. When most people think of Asian people and things, many people (understandably) think of Asia along the Pacific Rim and many of the outlying Pacific islands around Asia. In this series of blog posts regarding Asian beauties, I will showcase various Asian women as some of the most beautiful from this featured part of the world. Now, I must admit something before I begin. This list was NOT easy to come up with. My knowledge of Southeast Asia is not that good. I want to satisfy every audience member especially from the aforementioned countries and people from or of the descent of these aforementioned countries. I hate disappointing people, and I always hope my work means something to all of my readers. My knowledge of personalities from most of these locations is very poor. Regardless, I want all of my readers to bear with me here.

How This Blog Post Works.

You will see certain ladies from the seven represented nations that make up East Asia. Here are the represented nations in order:

Here in Houston, we have the largest Vietnamese population in Texas and about the third largest in the United States. So I've known quite a lot of Vietnamese people in Houston and in the Houston area. That even includes a handful of lovely Vietnamese ladies I've known personally. So it's best I begin with region I am most familiar with.

Nguyen Thuy Lam (Vietnam).

Nguyen Thuy Lam is both a singer and an actress. The (born: September 10, 1987)-year old won Miss Vietnam Universe in 2008.

Hoàng Thùy Linh (Vietnam).

Known infamously for a sex tape she made in 2007 with her boyfriend, Hoang Thuy Linh is a Vietnamese beauty who is an actress as well as a singer. The (born: August 11, 1988)-year old was born in Vietnam's capital city of Hanoi (or Ha Noi). Here is a look at Hoang Thuy Linh. Enjoy this bit of Vietnamese pop:

Thuy Li (Vietnam).

The import model known as Thuy Li is both a sexy model as well as a lovely go-go dancer. This Vietnamese go-go girl gets loose in this video (not safe for work!):

Riêng Mình Em (Vietnam).

I hope you're ready for some more music. Here is the Vietnamese pop star, Rieng Minh Em. This lady is beautiful! This song is also very cool to listen to. Just too bad my Vietnamese is extremely poor. I think the song translates to "Me Alone":

Brittanie Ngo (Vietnam).

(ADDED: November 25, 2011) Brittanie Ngo is a benevolent beauty of Vietnamese descent. What makes her different is that she chooses to do modeling shoots only if it is for charity. I first saw her in advertisements for a car bodykit company called Kaminari. Her images are copyrighted, so this is the best I could do to showcase the beautiful Brittanie Ngo. MichellePhan is one of YouTube's most popular beauty channels. Michelle Phan herself is a Vietnamese-American beauty expert from Boston. To round out the petite fashion bloggers of this section, I give you Khatu (pronounced "kah-toh"). The young Vietnamese petite from Boston is only 4'11", but big on beauty. Khatu's style is very diverse. She can be very casual (sometimes preppy) to almost goddess-like. A vast array of styles can be seen from this young petite. Natalie Tyler Tran, better known on YouTube as communitychannel, is the hottest YouTube channel in Australia. It is arguably the best and most popular channel in the Asia-Pacific region. She is Vietnamese-Australian hailing from the beautiful city of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. I greatly respect her as one of my inspirations on YouTube. Back when I was really active on YouTube, I would commonly watch her videos. She never fails to impress. So what's up with Natalie lately? Fonthip Watcharatrakul (Thailand).

Piyaporn Deejing (Thailand).

Also known by her nickname "Dear," (born: January 1, 1989)-year old Piyaporn Deejing from Thailand's Nakhon Ratchasima province won Miss Earth Thailand 2008 and Miss Thailand International in 2010. The 5'8" model is a sweet-faced, sweet-smiling Thai princess with lovely hair. This video may lend you a little more insight on this lady:

Foki, of "Fokis" (Thailand)

(ADDED: September 13, 2013)
Her real name is Anchisa, but she is better known by her nickname of Foki. This young Thai blogger has spent a good amount of her life in Sweden before returning to her native Thailand. Foki created her own store called Fokiwa. Fokiwa was created to offer the cute and colorful fashions of Japan to Europe. Keo Kalyan (Cambodia).

From Cambodia's captial city of Phnom Penh, Keo Kalyan is a trail blazer for modern Khmer folk, as Keo has degrees in Business Administration and Teaching English as a Foreign Language. She is of a rare type in modern Cambodia where there aren't as many girls who attend Secondary School in Cambodia as there are boyss (a 1:3 ratio). Amy Chanthaphavong is Laotian-American. She won Miss Asian-America in 2009, and was the first Laotian-American to win this honor. This is a video where she does a radio interview speaking in both Laotian and English (NOTE: You may need to turn up the volume):

--- Myanmar/Burma ---
I once had a Math teacher who is Burmese. Other than this, I know very little else about Myanmar/Burma. Whomever I feature will be mostly spontaneous and random. So here goes:

Swe Zin Phyo (Myanmar).

Almost fifty years since the last Miss Myanmar was crowned, it was in 2010 when Swe Zin Phyo was crowned Miss Myanmar/Burma. The last one to win this honor was a woman named Myint Myint Khins, who won Miss Myanmar/Burma in 1961.

Formerly of Hello! Project fame, Asami Konno (or Kon-Kon) has a sweet face and lovely hair. The (born: May 7, 1987)-year old is as sweet as sugar along with a sweet smile and a great singing voice. Asami Konno also has played as a football goalie for the Gatas Brilhantes Hello! Project futsal (indoor football/soccer) team. In fact, Asami is a very sporty girl. Risa Niigaki (Japan).

(Born: October 20, 1988)-year old Risa Niigaki was also part of Hello! Project in her past. Like Asami Konno, Risa is also super-cute and has also played for the Gatas Brilhantes Hello! Project futsal team. Let Risa-san sing for you! She sings "Never Forget" solo in this video:

Rio Natsume (Japan).

Rio Natsume is a sexy buxom who used to be a gravure model. In fact, Rio was the first-ever gravure model whom I became a fan of. She no longer is a model. So with this said, her hot and sexy pictures still resonate with me even to this day. I salute and say hello to Rio Natsume if she is somehow reading this blog post of mine. You're one of the sexiest women in this universe. STILL one of the sexiest even if no longer modeling. Truly a gravure goddess.

Yoko Matsugane (Japan).

Like Rio, Yoko Matsugane is another busty beauty. I learned of this gravure hottie around the time I learned of Rio Natsume. She, too is a deliciously hot Japanese lady.

Saori Yamamoto (Japan).

The sweet-as-sugar Tokyo native Saori Yamamoto is both a model as well as a musician. She plays some alternative rock music aside from her lovely modeling pictures. Here is a video showcasing the super-cute Saori Yamamoto:

Sayaka Isoyama (Japan).

Sayaka Isoyama is one seductive Japanese hottie. Luscious curves and a sweet face make her a truly lovely lady. Here is a look at this lady in this video. Just goes to show you how Japanese girls can perfectly balance cute and sexy:

Mayumi used to be a model and a grid girl. I best know her as being a race queen for Symbolic Motor Car and the STP Taisan team. The combination of a sexy race queen as well as having absolutely beautiful looks makes this cute from Osaka memorable for me. She no longer does modeling. In fact, there was an unfortunate incident when she was hit by a car and had to deal with having lots of pain in her back. I do hope she's well however she's doing right now.

I honestly can't find any pictures or videos on her that I can actually use, but I don't want to forget her because Mayumi is a very beautiful lady. So if you want to see pictures of her (albeit old pictures), I invite you to view these images on IGN's UK site.

Namie Amuro (Japan).

When I was learning about Japanese pop, I've always learned of Namie as the queen of JPOP. Here is a sample of Namie Amuro's singing:

Ayumi Hamasaki (Japan).

While many would consider her the Britney Spears or the Paulina Rubio of Japan, (born: October 2, 1978)-year old Ayumi Hamasaki is one of the all-time best in the realm of Japanese pop. I've known her in supplying the theme to the PlayStation 1 RPG, "Thousand Arms."

(A possible blog post on her is something I'm not ruling out in the future.)

Aya Matsuura (Japan).

Aya Matsuura is one of many alums of the supergroup Morning Musume. My all-time favorite song of hers is "Love Namida Iro." This young singer has also been in a variety of commercials and even done some acting. And oh, did I mention she's super cute? :) See for yourself by checking out this classic song. EmyLi (Japan).

Yuki (of Roconamente) (Japan).

As part of the duo known as roconamente, Yuki is the kawaii singer who wears creative outfits and expends her creative energy in her music. roconamente is best known for cover songs of anime songs as well as some non-anime songs. The one doing the singing is the super-cute Yuki. I blogged about roconamente in my blog post called "roconamente" here on John's Blog Space. How cute is Yuki? Riyo Mori (Japan).

Riyo Mori won Miss Universe in 2007. She is only the second Miss Universe winner from Japan, the first Miss Japan winner was Akiko Kojima back in 1959 (no relation to Hideo Kojima, at least I think).

Chiaki Kuriyama (Japan).

As I was putting the finishing touches to this blog post, I wanted to make mention to one lady you may have heard of from "Kill Bill: Volume 1." She swings a mean morning star playing as one of the villains in "Kill Bill: Volume 1." This girl is known as Gogo Yubari in the movie, but away from this movie, she is (born: October 10, 1984)-year old Chiaki Kuriyama- a Japanese girl with some very long hair.

Keiko Lynn (Japan).

Keiko Lynn was born in Florida and resides in Brooklyn. This young fashion blogger is 25% Japanese, so this beauty very much qualifies as part of the East Asian beauties. She is also big on beauty in addition to fashion. Another thing dear to Keiko Lynn's heart are animals, which she cares very deeply for. Postlapsaria is her own fashion store. Japanese-American beauty Arika Sato is mostly known as a contestant on MTV's "Paris Hilton: My New BFF" reality TV competition. Her ambition to become a celebrated star in TV and media is an ambition I proudly cheer her on for. This lady is immensely entertaining, immensely beautiful, and immensely hot! Kimora Lee Simmons (Honorable Mention!).

She's the queen of all things Baby Phat. She lives life in the fab lane. And... she happens to be Afro-Asian. Kimora Lee Simmons was born on May 4, 1975 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Her mother is Korean-born Japanese. Here is a sample of Kimora Lee Simmons in this video:

Maria Ozawa (or Miyabi) (Japan).

With a Japanese mother and a French-Canadian father, Maria Ozawa (with the stage name of Miyabi) is a sexy former adult video model. The (born: January 8, 1986)-year old is one of my own Capricorns. Maria is also a lady who has a pretty nice booty. :D I read on Wikipedia that she is a big gaming fan. Got to love a girl gamer. :) This video is a promotional video of this very sexy woman.
