(UPDATED: November 21, 2019)

The finale of my American Beauties series features beauties from the Pacific states. The featured personalities are from California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii. Even though I mention Hawaii, more of them can be seen in my "South Pacific Beauties" post. This Beauties series concludes with West Coast beauties. It is the final featured region of my American Beauties posts.

NOTE: This post may contain a lot of YouTube videos that may slow down your performance. Click on the links below any embedded videos to view them on YouTube. Thanks to all YouTube channels whom allowed their videos to be embedded.

More personalities may be added in future edits. So this initial list of beauties aren't the ONLY ones to be featured in this post!

American Beauties Series

Beautiful American ladies. I love doing these "Beauties" posts regarding some of the world's loveliest ladies, but I have decided to go close to home for this series. What you will see here is my list of various beauties representing the United States. You may not know who I may feature. What you probably will be aware of is certain personalities I've showcased based on certain interests of mine. As you may be aware in my blog posts, while I do mention those in Beauties posts as women, some of my Beauties posts may NOT be exclusively feminine. So you'll see a little of everything.

Here is a preview of what all this series will entail. There is no really serious designation in picking out a set region for which to feature each location. I will break up my American Beauties focus into five individual regions:

American Beauties Series: Rundown.

Here is a look at how I'll be doing this:

American Beauties - South and Southeast
(REGION: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia, and Washington, District of Columbia)

American Beauties - Northeast
(REGION: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine)

American Beauties - Midwest and Central
(REGION: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan)

American Beauties - Mountain
(REGION: Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Montana)

• American Beauties: Pacific (YOU ARE HERE)
(REGION: California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii)

American Beauties: This Region.

The region I will feature in this post is of Pacific beauties. I feel like I would do this region a disservice if I don't feature a number of Californian beauties because that state comprises the majority of beauties I've selected to feature and honor. This blog post consists of beauties from each of the following states:

• California
• Oregon
• Washington
• Alaska
• Hawaii

I can tell you right now that there will be a LOT of Californians I will feature in this post. I will still make an effort to find as many non-Californian beauties in this post to maintain solidarity.

NOTE: For more Hawaiian beauties, read my "South Pacific Beauties" blog post. I will still mention Hawaiian beauties here, but not as detailed in this post.

American Beauties: Pacific

I'll let you in on something- most of this blog post pertains to California. I do get the feeling that California has LOTS of people, so I fear I'll do this section a disservice if I don't feature as many Californians as possible. This is not to show any prejudice of anything. I'll try to feature lots of them early on.

So here are of many of California's beauties. As with any of the featured personalities, click on any hyperlinked headers to visit their official websites or fan pages.

Arika Sato.

The MTV reality TV competition "Paris Hilton's My New BFF" is where most people may have first heard of Arika Sato. This Japanese-American beauty is a (born: May 26, 1986)-year old southern California (SoCal) girl through and through. Arika Sato has done everything from modeling to being a star of her own YouTube channel. She is nowadays making material on YouTube called "What Every Guy Should Know," a series of videos showcasing what men should know about doing certain things. Arika hasn't forgotten about her ladies, as she offers fashion and beauty advice in some of those videos. I have respected Arika for the longest and still do to this day. Don't know Arika Sato? Get to know her with this video showcasing the Japanese-American beauty:

^ "How to Wash a Car"

The link I've provided takes you to her official site. Here was a post about her I did a long time ago: "Arika Sato" (John's Blog Space).

Keira Kang.

Keira Kang is a beautiful Korean-American singer. For as beautiful as this Los Angeles native is, however, this beautiful lady has had an ugly past. She has experienced everything from unemployment to the divorce of her parents. Her ultimate dream is to be a Grammy-award winning recording artist. I am hopeful she realizes her dream. As I've said about her before, she's been through Hell; all I want for her is Heaven. This video is a singing sample of Keira Kang:

^ "Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe (Cover by KEIRA KANG)"

I provided this blog post long ago: "Keira Kang" (John's Blog Space).

Katy Perry.

Katy Perry kissed a girl and liked doing so. You change your mind like a girl changes clothes. She's a firework who will let you know that California girls (like herself) are undeniable. This lovely (Born: October 25, 1984)-year old lady from Santa Barbara, California made her mark in music with this bold song. Katy Perry is of both American and Portuguese descent. She later came along with many more hit songs. What I like about Katy Perry from a style standpoint is her vintage pin-up girl image. Besides pin-up chic, Katy Perry is also known for wearing very whimsical outfits to her shows. Those whom play The Sims may be familiar with the candy-themed material from Katy Perry that you can buy in that The Sims add-on. My representing of Katy Perry in this blog post will be done with this music video. Enjoy this high-energy song:

^ "Katy Perry - Firework"

Rebecca Black.

From a world-class recording artist... to Rebecca Black. Many associate the (born: June 21, 1997)-year old as being an absolutely horrible singer (especially her "Friday" song), but this California girl from Irvine deserves at least some credit. Someone actually discovered her and given her a chance. The negativity that is spread across the Internet had people say all sorts of hurtful and damaging things to and about Rebecca Black. The one thing I can't stand about all of this is just why her. I think Rebecca Black- say what you want about her singing- is a beautiful lady. If she wasn't beautiful to me, she wouldn't be in a "Beauties" post now, would she? So I'm paying respect to this lady here.

• "Rebecca Black Interview-Katy Perry "Part of Me" Premiere"

By the way... there was a collaboration between Rebecca Black and Katy Perry long ago. Californians helping Californians. Pretty cool if you're from the Golden State.

Here is an old post I did about Rebecca Black: "Rebecca Black" (John's Blog Space).

Zooey Deschanel.

Zooey Claire Deschanel was someone I did not know of previously until seeing an Apple iPhone commercial of her. I think the (born: January 17, 1980)-year old is very cute and also entertaining. She is very well known for the hit "New Girl" comedy on FOX. Zooey is from Los Angeles, California. This is a video interview of the beautiful Zooey Deschanel:

• "Zooey Deschanel Talks "New Girl" and Taylor Swift"

Miranda Cosgrove.

Whereas Disney had the likes of Selena Gomez as a sweet-as-sugar personality, Nickelodeon's answer to Selena Gomez (if you will) is Miranda Cosgrove. Miranda Cosgrove is best known for starring in the hit show "iCarly" on Nickelodeon. The (born: May 14, 1993)-year old from Los Angeles, Calfornia is really one of the sweetest-faced personalities in American media besides Selena Gomez.

Megan Mullally.

One of the loveliest ladies to me is actress and singer Megan Mullally. This Los Angeles lady has been both a witty actress as well as a singer with an absolutely beautiful voice. On YouTube, the (born: November 12, 1958)-year old is famous for doing a music video for I Cannot Believe It's Not Butter called "Turn the Tub Around." I wanted to find that music video and post it here. However, I found a performance of hers that I literally cried to. You may need some tissues if you cry happy tears hearing this performance:

^ "Megan Mullally - Singing Christmas Party - Part 1"

Megan Mullally is a fantastic singer apart from being a very funny actress. I so respect her. Here is an old post I did about Megan Mullally: "Megan Mullally" (John's Blog Space)

Annabelle, of "VIVALUXURY."

(ADDED: April 8, 2014)
Annabelle Fleur is a stylish lady who runs the blog VIVALUXURY. I came across her by visiting her LOOKBOOK outfits. She is one of the loveliest ladies online. While I do think Annabelle is a beautiful name, her style is equally lovely. So check out her blog to gauge her style.

Rachel Pally.

Rachel Pally is a high-end fashion designer mostly noted for her stylish and comfortable fashions. The graduate of the University of California-Berkley (Golden Bears' country) has designed some sweet fashions for those who can afford her fashion pieces. Most of her fashions mostly are of comfortable jersey material. These items include pants, skirts, and dresses among many of her stylish clothes.

You can shop for Rachel Pally's fashions online at www.rachelpally.com, and even at retailers like Shopbop ( www.shopbop.com ).

Kassandra Brooks (Facebook fan page).

Kassandra Brooks
^ from: twitter.com (links to profile) - Kassandra Brooks- one hot and fashion-savvy Californian.

If you're familiar with AMIClubwear, the name Kassandra Brooks should be familiar to you- especially if you've followed AMIClubwear's YouTube channel. Kassandra Marie Brooks moved on from AMIClubwear to focus on her own fashion line called "I'm Haute." It is safe to say the Californian loves and is very much fixated on fashion. In addition to being someone fixated on fashion, Kassandra is also a scorching hot model. Kassandra Brooks is a beautiful lady, but one of her biggest challenges is in dealing with acne problems. She remains a beautiful blonde while also battling these acne problems. Kassandra M. Brooks remains a charming SoCal beauty- both inside and out.

Kassandra Brooks is also a blogger. However, her material isn't regularly updated. You are free to have a look at her blog about her outfits if interested: The Haute Blonde. You can see her fashions from her store at www.imhaute.com (I'm Haute).

For performance reasons, I am including this Jump Break. So many YouTube videos means so much to upload. So I am providing this Jump Break to improve the performance of this page if you are not reading the full post.

I'm not done yet! There are MANY more personalities from the Pacific that I want to make mention to. And trust me- I will mention at least one beauty from the remaining four states I have yet to mention. If you are not reading the full post, then you will miss out on me mentioning a few more Californians before eventually discussing beauties I'll mention from Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii. So click "Read More" if you are not reading the full post.

American Beauties: Mountain

(REGION: New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Nevada, Idaho, and Montana)

Maggie Flecknoe.

Marguerite "Maggie" Flecknoe (or "Blondie") and her appeal are as high as the Rocky Mountains. This beautiful blonde from Aurora, Colorado whom has supplemented her talents in voice overs and anime. The beauty has a voice that is both sweet and silky at the same time and without compromise. She lent her voice to a number of different anime series such as "HighSchool of the Dead." She is a lady of great style- loves shoes, has lovely curly hair, and a smile as sweet as her voice. Meet Maggie:

^ "Voice of the Voices - Maggie Flecknoe"

Maggie Flecknoe is also best known for sounding off on hot-button issues with her highly successful "Online Dish With Maggie" program. Online Dish is a brief segment where she discusses topics ranging from sex-related material to certain pieces of bizarre news. Those discussions delve into her sounding off the way only she can about certain issues. No matter what, "Blondie" delivers with her own commentary. Here is a sample of her successful program:

^ "School Bans Boy From Being Prom Queen"

I actually reviewed "Online Dish With Maggie" long ago. To read my review of this program, you are invited to visit this link: "Online Dish With Maggie" (John's Blog Space). Maggie is nowadays part of the "morning dose." program on CW39 as part of the "Where's Maggie?" segments.

Helen Su.

Of Chinese and Hawaiian descent, Helen Su hails from the Mile High City of Denver, Colorado. Mile High is fitting for her because her beauty and charm are miles high of any other lady. I know Helen Su mostly for her being a sexy go-go dancer. She is the founder of and instructor of a fitness program called BodyBarre. Get to know Helen Su in this 2007 video (uploaded in 2008):

• "helen su"

AnnaSophia Robb.

Many people know of AnnaSophia Robb today mostly for playing Carrie in the CW Network's "The Carrie Diaries." (Born: December 8, 1993)-year old AnnaSophia Robb is a Colorado girl from Denver. This girl from the Mile High City is a petite actress (AnnaSophia is 5'0") whom has taken part in lots of roles, including the remake of "Race to Witch Mountain." American Beauties: Midwest and Central

John B. Marine | 6/07/2013 09:25:00 PM | | | | | | | | | Be the first to comment!
(UPDATED: November 21, 2019)

The Midwest and Central States continue my American Beauties series. It is time to bless the Midwest and the Central States for their beauties. It can be pretty warm or bitterly cold. The beauties of this region are hot, though! Some of the Midwest and central states' lovelies will be featured in this blog post. And as usual, this is my own personal salute to lovelies representing certain regions. This is not any definitive list of beautiful folks from the Midwest and central states, and I don't really care if I fail to find any who is on some list from famous publications or sites (like AskMen or FHM). This is my own personal collection of beautiful folks I will name and honor in this blog post.

NOTE: This post may contain a lot of YouTube videos that may slow down your performance. Click on the links below any embedded videos to view them on YouTube. Thanks to all YouTube channels whom allowed their videos to be embedded.

American Beauties - Mountain

American Beauties: Pacific
(REGION: California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii)

American Beauties: This Region.

The region I will feature in this post is of beauties from the Midwest and from the Central states. This includes Midwestern states and America's Heartland. I'll try to represent each state in this region- as I've done with every other region so far. This region and its featured personalities consists of beauties from the following states:

• Illinois
• Indiana
• Wisconsin
• Ohio
• Michigan
• Minnesota
• Iowa
• Missouri
• Kansas
• Nebraska
• South Dakota
• North Dakota

As usual, I will try to feature as many personalities from the following states as I can to represent each state. There are 12 states here, so if I find at least one from each state, expect no less than 12 featured persons.

American Beauties: Midwest and Central

(REGION: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan)

Midwestern and Central ladies will be featured here. None of the featured personalities are featured in any specific order or under any certain categories. Click on any hyperlinked headers to visit their official websites or fan pages.

Danica Patrick.

Danica Sue Patrick is one of the most popular race car drivers today. She is a Roscoe, Illinois resident born in Beloit, Wisconsin. So I'd say she is very much a Midwestern girl. Those whom have criticized Danica Patrick mostly do so for being camera fodder than actual racing talent. Yes- she's beautiful, but she's also a talented racer. In her time in the IndyCar Series, she won only one race. That race win was at Japan's Twin Ring Motegi Superspeedway. The funniest part of that victory was how the trophy was about as big as she is! Danica Patrick is a petite- 5'2". Even at her height to pilot a race car, she's awesome. Her best finish at the Indy 500 was 3rd. Danica Patrick also became the first woman to lead at any time of the Indy 500 as well as leading any lap at the Indy 500. I personally still think she has unfinished business at Indy even though she's transitioned to NASCAR. And while people keep hating on Danica, I've always been a fan of hers and always supported her. Here is a little piece of Danica's personality:

^ "Danica Patrick gives interviewer a hard time"

Sarah Fisher.

Sarah Fisher
^ from: newsinfo.iu.edu - Sarah Fisher was the last hot femme to grace the IndyCar Series before Danica Patrick.

Before Danica Patrick burst onto the IndyCar scene, the femme fatale before Danica was Sarah Fisher. This Columbus, Ohio native offered up her own talent and charm even if it was nowhere near the meteoric rise of Danica. Sarah Fisher never won a race as a driver in the IndyCar Series, but she did manage to finish as high as 2nd Place in one race back in (I believe) 2003. Sarah Fisher is from Columbus, Ohio.

Lyn St. James.

Lyn St. James has had a long and lengthy career as a race car driver. Born in Willoughby, Ohio; I have had the utmost respect for Lyn St. James and all she has accomplished. She has competed in series like the Indy 500, the former CART series, and various races in IMSA sportscar racing. This video chronicles some of Lyn St. James' racing career and her willingness to win:

• "Lyn St James talks about her career"

Katishia Cosley (or Kat Cosley).

Katishia Cosley
^ from: windycitylive.com (best I could find) - Katishia Cosley has gone from reporter/anchor to host/producer with her successful Live Well Network show "Deals."

Katishia Cosley (or Kat Cosley) has been a reporter and an anchor for a long while. Since 2011, Kat has become the host and producer of "Deals" on the Live Well Network. This native from a small town in the greater Indianapolis area boasts a sweet smile and lovely hair. I first seen her on TV back in 2007 or 2008 as a reporter for KTRH Channel 13 (Houston's ABC Affiliate) here in Houston. I then infamously saw her again for the first time in a while on TV as a reporter/anchor for KIAH Channel 39 (Houston's CW affiliate) on a snowy day here in Houston. And keep in mind- Katishia was a reporter/anchor for CW39 before the NewsFix format took over what was CW39 News. I have best known Kat Cosley looks-wise for wonderful-looking curly hair. However, she does straight hair equally well. Kat Cosley these days is the host of the Live Well Network show "Deals," a show that offers advice regarding ways to save money and even how to maximize your money. She's a proud Indiana University Hoosier. In addition, Kat Cosley also an award-winner. She won a Lone Star Emmy Award in 2012 for a half-hour special called "You Are Not Alone," which was a documentary piece on living with Crohn's Disease and Colitis. Katishia Cosley has such a positive and upbeat spirit that is impervious to some of the most depressing and most negative things out there. Her sweet smile, warm personality, and lighthearted humor are every bit as beautiful as her looks with all of her on-air work. Today, Kat Cosley mostly procudes the local Houston program "Check This Out Houston" on ABC 13, and she is also the franchise owner of the Katy branch of FIT4MOM.

I blogged about Kat's show "Deals." If you want my own review of this show, you are welcome to visit this link: "Deals" (John's Blog Space).

Crash Gladys.

The outspoken and super cool Crash Gladys is the one providing girl power to SpeedFreaks. She basically grew up at Indianapolis Motor Speedway checking out all kinds of racing action. Like Katishia Cosley, the native Hoosier is even a proud alum of Indiana University. Crash Gladys is interviewing Ashley Force-Hood in this video:

• "Crash and Ashley Force Hood"

Sheryl Crow.

Singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow was born in Kennett, Missouri. The (born: February 11, 1962)-year old is someone whom I respect in the music industry. She has a number of songs that I've liked from her. Some of them include "My Favorite Mistake" and "Soak Up the Sun" among others. Sheryl Crow is even a cancer survivor. Here is a sample of Sheryl Crow's singing, and one of my favorite songs of hers. Class of 1998, unite! Here you go:

^ "Sheryl Crow - My Favorite Mistake"

CeCe Peniston.

In the early 1990s, a singer from Dayton, Ohio named Cecilia "CeCe" Peniston came along with a hot song called "Keep on Walkin'." She'd also come along in her career called "Finally." There was no denying CeCe has such vivid musical talent. I personally love "Keep on Walkin'" the most. Even today, CeCe remains beautiful. Here is some 1992 loving right here, folks:

• "Ce Ce Peniston - Keep on Walkin"

Shannon McIntosh.

(ADDED: August 29, 2013)
Meet a young Midwestern girl who may become a tour de force in racing. Shannon McIntosh is a young (born: July 24, 1989) lady from Miamisburg, Ohio, USA who has been racing since the age of five years old. Shannon's racing resumé contains some 100 or so wins. Could she be the next Danica Patrick? Could this pretty lady even reach legend status like Lyn St. James or Shirley Muldowney? Time will tell, but this young lady will certainly be one to watch for years to come.

Melissa McCarthy.

(ADDED: June 8, 2013)
Melissa McCarthy
^ from: movies.yahoo.com - Actress Melissa McCarthy is very much Midwestern. She's a farmer's daughter, after all!

Those who are fans of CBS' "Mike and Molly" may be familiar with Melissa McCarthy. Melissa Ann McCarthy is a Midwestern girl who was born in Plainfield, Illinois. She is a curvy petite at 5'2". One of her most recent movie roles was in "Identity Thief."

Lily, "Imperfect Idealist."

Lily Fang is the creator of the "Burst of Color" blog. She defines her fashion style as a fresh look at Bohemian style. Her outfits are very casual. Like her name, this Chinese cutie is a beautiful flower. She's from Buckeye country- Columbus, Ohio. What draws me most to her blog is the positive energy she brings to her posts and to her outfits. She smiles often and laughs. Lily really brings positive energy to the Internet. Her style has been featured on Teen Vogue once, and she was even a finalist in the American Eagle "Live Your Life" contest. Though she didn't win (boo!), I do want the best for her in all of her endeavors. It brings me tremendous honor to feature Lily in my "Beauties" blog posts because she's been such a strong supporter of my blogging work. I would be remiss if I failed to honor her in any such way. So I featured her among my beauties. Visit her blog to see why.

"Burst of Color" has been re-named "Imperfect Idealist."

Sydney, of "Sydney's Fashion Diary."

Sydney is a Vietnamese petite who hails from Ohio. I've always respected Sydney for her keep-it-real style both with fashion and her fashion opinions. "Sydney's Fashion Diary" was long known as "PetiteLittleGirl." Her outfits range from polished casual looks and various classy outfits.

Christina, of "The Daily Sugar."

(ADDED: April 8, 2014)
Christina Dawes is the lovely lady behind "The Daily Sugar." This fashion blogger is absolutely cute. She has a lovely smile and a lovely hairstyle. Her outfits are also very pleasing to the eyes. I learned of Christina through her LOOKBOOK page. Go visit Christina and her fabulous blog to check out her style.

Cassandra, of "Style Cassentials."

One of the most recent supporters of my blogging work is Cassandra Westlake, a curvy petite (4'9") from the Midwest. This beautiful woman expresses her style in a variety of blog posts- mostly classy-type outfits. If Cassandra is reading this, I appreciate your continued support of my work. I think you are a lovely lady, and so I decided to feature you among the many diverse Midwestern beauties of this blog post. You're welcome. :)

HannahBart.

This Twitch streamer from Wisconsin is known as HannahBart. She mostly streams a variety of Nintendo games. Hannah also deserves praise for discussing mental health issues. She's been involved in discussing matters such as depression and suicide. Very much give her channel a try.

American Beauties: Northeast

John B. Marine | 6/06/2013 11:41:00 PM | | | | | | | | | | | | | Be the first to comment!
(UPDATED: November 21, 2019)

The American Northeast will be featured as my American Beauties series continues. I featured a few from the Mid-Atlantic states, and I decided to continue with more from the American Northeast. So get ready to come across a variety of ladies I've made mention to from this part of the United States. These featured personalities range from celebrities to bloggers and more. It is my own personal look at some of America's loveliest ladies. My Beauties posts are not any definitive beauties, but it is my own look at various lovely people. You may not even know who I will feature. Whomever I do feature, it is maybe the most diverse array of lovelies that I can provide to all of my readers. I may also add more beauties to this blog post, so this initial list is not the ONLY list of beauties relevant to this region I want to make mention to!

So let's continue this series by taking a look at American beauties from the Northeast! I was careful including some information on some of the featured personalities. I want to respectfully feature certain personalities without pulling any real sensitive information.

Let me know if I am unable to use certain images due to copyright information. Also, be warned that a lot of YouTube video is featured here. You may not have very good performance viewing my blog with so many YouTube videos featured. Just be mindful of this. You can always click on the links below the videos to view them on YouTube if you can't view embedded videos. Thanks to all YouTube channels who allowed their videos to be embedded.

NOTE: Having to load more embedded videos means lower browser performance, so fewer videos will be shown.

• American Beauties - Northeast (YOU ARE HERE)
(REGION: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine)

American Beauties - Midwest and Central
(REGION: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan)

American Beauties - Mountain
(REGION: Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Montana)

American Beauties: Pacific
(REGION: California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii)

American Beauties: This Region.

The region I will feature in this post is of Northeastern beauties. These are mostly personalities from New England. This post consists of a nine-state region that I will define as Northeast. I don't feel I totally succeed at posting about certain people if I don't cover every location. Or at least, as many as possible. I will attempt to find at least one personality to feature from the following states:

• Pennsylvania
• New Jersey
• New York
• Connecticut
• Rhode Island
• Massachusetts
• Vermont
• New Hampshire
• Maine

And when it comes to New York, it is obviously important I mention folks from New York City. However, I also want to make sure I cover upstate New York. So I'll be sure to feature some upstate New York personalities in addition to the greater New York City folks.

American Beauties: Northeast

(REGION: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine)

The Mid-Atlantic and New England are represented in this blog post. Are you ready to meet some Northeastern beauties? Click on any hyperlinked headers to visit their official websites or fan pages. Let's begin! Here are some of the Northeast's many beauties- from celebrities to bloggers and all points in-between:

Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift
^ from: omg.yahoo.com - Taylor Swift boasts some of the most beautiful curly hair of any celebrity. These days, though, Taylor is much more fierce in looks and style- but still beautiful.

Taylor Alison Swift hails from the city known as "Tree City USA"- Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, USA. This 5'11" country pop star born on December 13, 1989 has won the hearts of America with her great singing and funny personality. Taylor Swift mostly began as this country cutie. She's the girl who will don a cute sundress and pair them with a pair of cowboy boots. She also has boasted some of the most beautiful curly hair of any celebrity past or present. As she matured and as she became a Cover Girl, Taylor Swift has become more fierce in her style. She remains modest, but her looks have certainly changed. I personally think Taylor looks a WHOLE lot different with straight hair rather than with the beautiful curls I've known her for. Besides her looks, she is an awesome singer/songwriter who has even done her share of acting. One more thing about Taylor Swift- she is very funny and can be very silly. I think if she decides to get away from music, she may have a great career as a comedian.

OLD post I did on Taylor Swift: "Taylor Swift" (John's Blog Space).

Gabriella, of "Principessa Gabriella".

Principessa Gabriella
^ from: twitter.com (links to profile) - Say "ciao" to the beautiful blogger Gabriella of "Principessa Gabriella."

Pennsylvania's "principessa" (Italian for "princess") is the beautiful Gabriella. The curvy blogger showcases not only blog posts but also some of her own advice and literature. Coming across her blog long ago has been a tremendous pleasure. She even influenced me to blog about her favorite musician, Alexz Johnson. I owe so much to her in me expanding my blogging range. Gabriella showcases her style posting multiple outfits in one posts. If Gabriella is reading this, ciao! ^_^

Arielle, of "Adventures Uncensored."

One lady is a true survivor. Arielle has battled eating disorders and is using her influence to help motivate and inspire others. The Pennsylvanian caught my attention when I was randomly looking up videos of a pop singer named Arielle Lee. This Arielle I eventually came across provided beautiful messages in all of her motivational videos as well as her work with "WeRFreedomFighters"- a YouTube channel devoted to helping others deal with eating disorders. What makes Arielle beautiful besides her lovely looks are twofold- her willingness to motivate and help others while also sharing beautiful and powerful messages to help those who may need some sort of guidance. I will demonstrate to you one of Arielle's many wonderful motivational pieces. She sometimes offers a variety of mixed motivational and inspirational messages in her series of motivational mash-ups. I think she has a very sweet voice in addition to her wonderful looks. Please take a look and enjoy... and also take in some inspiration:

^ "You're Invited to a Celebration"

The link I provided links to her main blog. Now the tough question: which is more beautiful- her looks, or her heart and her motivation? Oh, and I blogged about her long ago. More on Arielle Lee Bair: "A Salute to Arielle" (John's Blog Space).

Kimberly, of "Sensible Stylista."

Korean cutie Kimberly Kong is a fashion blogger from Pittsburgh, PA, USA; by way of Baltimore, MD, USA. I first learned of her through her LOOKBOOK posts. She showcases her style which is mostly of classy outfits. She does dress things down often times besides her chic outfits. Her range of styles is immense. So go visit her blog and check out her various styles.

Kelly, of "DressWellBeWell."

Kelly Bibza runs the fashion blog "Dress Well, Be Well." This beautiful woman from Pittsburgh, PA, USA discusses fashion and health in her blog. Her fashion style is quite diverse ranging from casual pieces to more elegant ones. Despite her beauty, Kelly has endured some ugly health issues in her life. She suffers from Lyme Disease. Kelly remains beautiful in looks and personality. In fact, she says her love of fashion keeps her going each day! Visit her blog to see this beautiful lady and her equally fine style.

Danielle, of "indie.electronic.alternative.".

The wild child named Danielle is a fashion blogger from Pennsylvania who runs "indie.electronic.alternative." Rather than just fashion, she also discusses music- and especially music left of the mainstream. She is unique in her own right in regards to fashion. Her styles can be cool and casual or even feminine with toughness. A trademark of her style usually involves something fringed or a a tough (yet chic) pair of boots.

Nicole Haboush.

The "Cute Grid Girl" of motorsport.com is Tampa Bay resident Nicole Haboush. This blonde lady brings sunshine to all with her amazing beauty. Nicole calls the Sunshine State home, but this sunny cutie is from New Jersey. She is a businesswoman who runs a yacht charter service in Florida. The link provided takes you to her business and even includes a picture of the beautiful lady.

Heidi Van Horne.

Heidi Van Horne was born in Princeton, New Jersey. She was raised in Texas by two native New Yorkers (according to IMDb), so I put her among my Northeast beauties because of this. I always call Heidi Van Horne as the world's hottest pin-up girl. I even got to meet her once at the Houston Auto Show. Heidi usually contributes to the Houston Chronicle in regards to automotive material. This video is a sample of the hot Heidi Van Horne:

• "Bedlam Ball Oct 2,2010 Car Show, Pin Ups, San Pedro, - Heidi Van Horne hosting"

My blog post on her: "Heidi Van Horne" (John's Blog Space).

Kimara Lovelace (last.fm link).

You may only know of Kimara Lovelace if you've played "Ridge Racer Type 4" and heard "Movin' in Circles" and "One More Win." Kimara Lovelace is a New Jersey girl who is great singing Lounge-type songs.

Want more? My old blog post on Kimara Lovelace: "Kimara Lovelace" (John's Blog Space).

Nikki Blonsky.

(EDITED: June 7, 2013)
Nikki Blonsky is one of the sweetest famous faces in America. She is both curvy and petite- standing 4'10". However, her talent and her personality far exceed her petite frame. The (born: November 9, 1988)-year old is a native of Great Neck, New York, USA. Many people know her as the star of the movie musical "Hairspray." Others may know of her from "Huge" on ABC Family, and most others know her for dating Zac Efron. I think of her as the super-cute and down-to-earth lady whom also happens to be a talented actress and a talented singer. Here is a cute sample of her singing:

• "Nikki Blonsky - Good Morning Baltimore - Live"

I blogged about this cutie before. Check it: Nikki Blonsky (John's Blog Space)

Lady Gaga.

Meet the Madonna of our current generation- Stefani Joanne Angelica Germanotta - better known as Lady Gaga. I personally like her music. Most others look for any reason to hate on her. Lady Gaga is from New York City, New York. She is someone not afraid to speak her mind or express herself any way she chooses. One of her most controversial moments was when the 5'1" pop superstar wore a meat dress to the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009. For all she's worth, Lady Gaga is a superstar that transcends both music and art. Why people hate on her is beyond me. I actually like a lot of her music.

If interested, I blogged about her once. You're invited to have a read: "Lady Gaga" (John's Blog Space).

Paris Hilton.

(ADDED: June 12, 2013)
"That's hot!" The most famous socialite in this day an age is one Paris Whitney Hilton. Say what you want about the (born: February 17, 1981)-year old, but Paris Hilton is surely a beautiful lady. She was born in New York City, New York. Paris has extended her appeal into acting and music. As of this inclusion of Paris Hilton to my "American Beauties" series, she recently signed a music deal with Cash Money Records to be in the realm of electronic pop music.

BellQees, of "BellQees Fashion Blog."

She is known as BellQees. Of Palestinian descent and from the greater New York City area, this is a stylish lady who I first came across in the blogosphere. Here is an older video featuring this beauty.

^ BELLADI Fashion Lookbook [1]

Lauren, of "North of Manhattan".

Lauren Recchia is a stylish lady from upstate New York. She runs the fashion blog "North of Manhattan." This is a stylish lady who dares to be different. A lot of her outfits and styles may be hit-or-miss to a number of people. However, Lauren is very much a stylish lady. One needs only follow her fashion blog to gauge her style as a whole. Her fashion insights are expressed in her blog and in social media.

Joan Rivers.

Joan Rangers unite! Many know Joan Rivers as being part of Fashion Police on the E! Network. I best remember the (born: June 8, 1933)-year old Brooklyn native usually in the center square on the old Hollywood Squares game show. Many more know Joan for her highly successful career on The Carol Burnett Show. Those who just know her on "Fashion Police" know her as the outspoken host who sometimes comes up with some of the most brutal jokes regarding certain celebrities. Let's just say she's about the oldest beauty I will feature in this American Beauties series of blog posts. Sadly, Joan Rivers passed away at the age of 81 in 2014.

I have more Northeastern beauties to feature in this blog post! Who else made the cut? If you are not reading the full post and if you've enjoyed what you read so far, PLEASE click on "Read More" to continue your experience!

American Beauties: South and Southeast

John B. Marine | 6/05/2013 10:58:00 PM | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Be the first to comment!
(UPDATED: November 21, 2019)

I salute my American beauties with this American Beauties series. The first in this series of posts features the largest region- the South. If you think "the best women are Southern," then this post will prove you right. Various personalities ranging from celebrities to bloggers will be featured in this post and others in the "American Beauties" series. Welcome to a new series of "Beauties" posts. And more importantly, welcome to "John's Blog Space!"

NOTE: Updates to the "American Beauties" series only pertain to contextual information, video additions, change of pictures, etc. Each post will be updated to include links to each post in the "American Beauties" series once new posts in the series are posted. Each post of this series will be linked so you can access all posts once the series is complete.

LATEST UPDATE(S)/REVISION(S):

NOV 21 2019 - added more personalities, edited look of post

NOTE: Having to load more embedded videos means lower browser performance, so fewer videos will be shown.

• American Beauties - Southern (YOU ARE HERE)
(REGION: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, District of Columbia)

American Beauties - Northeast
(REGION: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine)

American Beauties - Midwest and Central
(REGION: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan)

American Beauties - Mountain
(REGION: Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Montana)

American Beauties: Pacific
(REGION: California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii)

American Beauties: This Region.

The region I will feature in this post is of Southern beauties. These consist of personalities from the South and Mid-South. I feature this section first in this series since I am from this region. It is the largest region I will feature since so many locations- 17, in fact- are part of it. I have defined a number of locations to comprise the "South" region of my "American Beauties" series. You will see personalities from or representing the following locations:

• Texas
• Oklahoma
• Louisiana
• Arkansas
• Mississippi
• Alabama
• Tennessee
• Kentucky
• Florida
• Georgia
• South Carolina
• North Carolina
• Virginia
• West Virginia
• Maryland
• Delaware
• District of Columbia

I used "locations" instead of "states" because of the District of Columbia- which is not a state. The personalities I feature don't necessarily follow a certain order as long as I mention them. I will try to find at least one personality from each location. As a result, expect no less than 17 featured persons. I may or may not succeed in finding personalities from each location, but I will definitely try.

Most of my "Beauties" posts are helped when I add pictures and videos to showcase the featured personalities. However, just mentioning certain people and putting in links is also helpful. I want to try to showcase certain personalities while also thinking of things like the performance of my site. So for some of these, you will see just a link mentioning the certain personalities. I do still hope you enjoy my tireless work. My Internet was down this past weekend, so I spent most of my time preparing drafts of blog posts.

Let's begin a new Beauties series!

American Beauties: South and Southeast

(REGION: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, and West Virginia, and Washington, District of Columbia)

If you think the best girls are Southern, then you're going to love this one. You will be introduced to many Southern ladies. I'm going to start off the American Beauties region with my native region. All of the featured personalities are either natives of, or born in the region specified. This region consists of the Mid-South and the American Southeast. However, I am labeling it all as "South."

Click on any hyperlinked headers to visit their official websites or fan pages. I have also included links of various blog posts I've done in the past that may interest you if you enjoyed my featuring of each personality. Each featured personality is represented with at least one of the following: a link, a picture, a video, a blog post. I don't just name-bomb each featured personality.

Natalie (Facebook Fan Page).

I need to start with a fellow Houston-area lady to kick things off. Otherwise, it wouldn't make sense to feature my native region without a native of this area.
Natalie Alvarado (also known as "Nat Boogie") was born in Clear Lake, TX, USA. She is best known for her hit "Goin' Crazy" along with her "Energy" song featuring Baby Bash. Natalie was a Houston Rockets Power Dancer who went on to become a recording artist. There was even a makeup line called "Goin' Crazy" named after Natalie's hit song. Speaking of which, here is that hit song from 2005:

^ "Natalie - Goin' Crazy"

If you want to read an old blog post I did about Natalie, visit this blog post: "Natalie" (John's Blog Space).

Shay Shaunte'.

(ADDED: June 7, 2013)
Shay Shaunte
^ from: twitter.com - Plus size model and Houston's own Shay Shaunte'.

One of my most famous blog posts on "John's Blog Space" features Shay Shaunte. This woman is a Houston native whom shows that curvy women can be every bit as beautiful as those slim and slender. She is a lovely lady whom I have great respect for.

Eva Longoria.

Time to go from Southeast Texas to South Texas and talk about a sweet petite named Eva Longoria. (Born: March 15, 1975)-year old Eva Longoria is from Rachal, Texas. Many know the 5'2" actress for her roles in "Desperate Housewives." Here is an interview Eva Longoria did on The Dr. Oz Show:

^ "Eva Longoria's Health Crusade, Pt 1 The Dr. Oz Show"

The link I provided is a link to a profile on another site.

Selena Gomez.

Selena Gomez was born in New York City, but she is very much a Texas girl. She hails from a Dallas-area city called Grand Prairie. Many people know of Selena from Disney's "Wizards of Waverly Place." Many others know of Selena Gomez for her time dating Justin Bieber. Apart from acting, Selena Gomez has also shown her strength as a musician. She's sung a number of songs like "Tell Me Something I Don't Know" among others. Selena also has a band called The Scene. I think she is extremely cute and sweet. I think it was 2006 or so when I first seen Selena Gomez. Even in this time where there aren't as many good girls in the Hollywood scene, Selena really shines as a vibrant and positive personality. Even today, Selena Gomez does dress a bit sexy, but she still retains an extreme modicum of modesty and doesn't overstep her boundaries.

This was a post I did about Selena Gomez LONG ago: "Selena Gomez" (John's Blog Space)

Demi Lovato.

The rock star of Disney's "Camp Rock" and "Sonny With a Chance" named Demetria Devonne Lovato is simply... Demi Lovato. She's also a Texas girl, even though she was born in New Mexico- Albuquerque, New Mexico in fact. Demi is a bit more edgy than Selena but remains sweet for the most part. Demi also represents Grand Prairie, Texas. I usually know that wherever there was Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez was not too far behind.

Demi Lovato was someone I blogged about in this old post: "Demi Lovato" (John's Blog Space).

Dixie Carter, President of TNA Wrestling.

(ADDED: June 13, 2013)

Dixie Carter TNA
^ from: twitter.com (links to profile) - iMPACT Wrestling president, Dixie Carter.

There are multiple Dixie Carters, so I have to specify the one in question. I am referring to Dixie Carter- the president of Total Non-Stop Action (TNA) Wrestling. The average chauvinist or inconsiderate jerk would say something about women not worthy of or supposed to manage a professional wrestling promotion. Dixie Carter never got the memo. She is a beautiful (born October 6, 1964)-year old who manages the biggest professional wrestling promotion not named World Wrestling Entertainment. She is from Dallas, Texas and very much Southern, though she calls Nashville, TN home.

Ember Moon.

Ember Moon is known to many as the War Goddess or even the She-Nom. Ember also happens to be a native of Dallas, Texas, USA. Here is an interesting video of Ember Moon as she goes across her hometown of Dallas:

^ Ember Moon traces her roots in Dallas: WWE Hometown Superstar presented by Cricket Wireless

InquisitorMaster

One of the most famous streamers of ROBLOX is Alex. Alex hails from Dallas, Texas, USA. Her witty comedy and adorably cute looks make her one of the most popular personalities of ROBLOX. She even co-hosted the 2018 ROBLOX awards. Here is an example of Alex's video work:

^ Detention... | Roblox High School Roleplay

Nora Kapche, of "The Coupon Conte$$a".

The "Coupon Contessa" is one Nora Capche. Nora is a blogger whom specializes in discussing deals as well as in saving money. Her blog is called "Coupon Conte$$a." Often times on the Live Well Network show "Deals," Nora Kapche is often featured. Besides her own expertise in saving money, Nora also sometimes shares some interesting advice on do-it-yourself (DIY) material to clean up around the house or perform certain tasks without spending lots of money. No matter what advice she offers, you can be sure she will not disappoint. Oh, and did I mention that she's very pretty to me? Otherwise, why would she end up in one of my "Beauties" posts? She's a Houston-area girl, so it's always nice to salute my own Houston-area folks.

Since I mentioned "Deals," you can read my old blog post reviewing this Live Well Network show: "Deals" (John's Blog Space).

Nadine Moon (profile on another site).

Nadine Moon is the founder of one of the finest cake makers in America- "Who Made the Cake!" Nadine herself is a beautiful lady who is as unique as the amazing and unusual cakes made by this amazing company. Just like Nora Kapche, Nadine Moon is a very lovely lady. You should really see some of the unique cakes designed by Who Made the Cake! To see for yourself, visit www.whomadethecake.com.

Emily, of "Champagne and Chanel."

Hailing from Katy, Texas; Emily Herren runs the blog "Champagne and Chanel." Emily kindly showcases her sense of style in her blog and on social media. She smiles often and has fairly nice fashion style.

^ Loose Curls Hair Tutorial

Reba McEntire.

Reba McEntire
^ from: www.tvtropes.com - Country music legend Reba McEntire is a native Oklahoman.

While Texas has some beautiful ladies (maybe I'm a bit biased :D), one of the most beautiful Oklahomans is no doubt Reba McEntire. This country music legend has one of the finest voices past or present in country music. She has even lent her talents to acting. While I haven't seen the "Reba" comedy series, I do respect her for taking her talents outside of music. Even Mr. I-Don't-Listen-to-Country-Music me has tremendous respect for Reba McEntire.

Ree Drummond.

Ree Drummond Pioneer Woman
^ from: (Twitter) - "The Pioneer Woman" is one lovely Oklahoman named Ree Drummond.

The Pioneer Woman, otherwise known as Ree Drummond, is a (born: January 6, 1959)-year old Oklahoman beauty who shares her food insights on the Food Network show, "The Pioneer Woman." How she was able to become so lucrative is fascinating. Ree was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. A lot of her material is featured in magazines as well as many of her own food products.
